Project Overview

THE STORY/PREMISE 

Scoob and his best pal Shag are up to their usual hi-jinks, but everything is not as it seems in their latest adventure.
Scoob and Shag is a parody and the likeness to any trademarked characters are purely for satirical purposes through fair use and has no association to any existing copyrights.
The particular set of chapters being adapted are (the latter half of) #102 - #106('s former half): Screen, Spar, Screen, Cue, HIt & Truth.

  • INTRODUCTION

Hi there, I'm Steven! Here taking up the role of being the whole brains behind the whole operations! I hope that we can communicate well together along the way through this project! Any questions you have, or if you questions about other things for me, just send a message through CCC or Discord!

  • DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS

If need be, the deadline could extend, but until then, this window of time should be enough! As for the audition portion and what comes after, you shall receive a message through our means of communication(ex. Discord, email)and from there, we can get this show on the road! One last thing: please consider reading any updates that I post surrounding the project. As important information may come up.

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

I will need everyone to be on board, to communicate efficiently and be motivated to do their part to ensure things flow smoothly in the creative processes. I do plan to release this on YouTube, a majority of the editing will be done by me, so that will take a good chunk of time understandably. Most importantly: This is a unpaid project.


WHAT WE ASK OF YOU


  • First and foremost, have fun! Once you're cast, I shall do my best to guide you through your scripts when we go back and forth through our means of communication(email/Discord etc). Live-directed sessions are an option as well.

  • Please submit clean recordings on XLR or good quality USB mics (no background sounds/noises) Too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice. Also please let me handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to myself. Thank you. This doesn't mean don't clean up your audio I just don't want voice modifications in the takes.

  • Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too.

  • Please submit your recordings as one .WAV. Once cast a new destination will be given later.

  • An update regarding this project's future

    Hello everyone! Hope this little update gets to you who have auditioned. Firstly, let me get this out of the way & drop the bomb here: Unfortunately, I have made the decision to shelve this project. While I hoped that I could've let this project flourish, it seems that a few factors prevented me from getting said project out of the audition phase. Nevertheless, while I am shelving this project, I may bring this out again at a much, MUCH later time. Thank you to everyone who auditioned! You've all done such a grand job, I'll say! Keep up the great work out there!
