Say, "I Love You," Manga Fandub! (First Round, Leads, Supporting, and Extras)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! Welcome to my fandub.
Say, "I Love You," was a very big part of my life during my transition from middle school to high school and really helped me understand what I was going through and how I was feeling. This series is very close to my heart, so I'd only want the very best for it. The series will be uploaded to Youtube on a channel specifically for fandubs–this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door, as I'd like to create more in the future. If you're casted in this one, it's likely you'll have some role in the next one, so it'll be great for building a resumé.
I'm looking for people with clear mics who have the ability to embody the character using their voice. I really want to hear emotion and passion when it's needed; something that even without prior detail, gives you a clear picture of the severity of the scene. Does that make sense? This series is so important to me that I really only want to give it the best.
I'll be adding characters in as we progress in the story, so don't worry if you don't get casted in the first round. I'm not going to get auditions going for chapter 52 characters when we're on chapter 12, haha.
On that note, this is a very long series! There are 52 chapters in this story, and we're covering ALL of them. Please don't audition if you don't think you can do them all!
In a couple of days, I'll be upload a video detailing what I'm looking for in various aspects of the project. I'll obviously need the main cast, but I'll need extras and someone to help me out with video editing in case I'm in a pinch. If I get lucky enough to get someone who can help me out with music as well, that'd be fantastic!

Mei Tachibana is a 16 year old female in high school who is ridiculed for not having any friends, much less alone a boyfriend. Ever since she discovered that everyone only cares about themselves, she's been on her own. That all changes when she meets the popular Yamato Kurosawa, more or less her polar opposite.
Mei has a medium-high voice.
(Very angry and uncomfortable, shouting) Stop bugging me! Die! You idiot!

(Pissed off) If Asami-san was in your place; if she canceled her date with you and went out with some other guy...then, you won't feel anything at all? Do you think it's fine as long as she doesn't find out? In love, there's no rule that says it's okay to do something because he's a guy, or because she's a girl. It's important to keep each other's rules, and be considerate towards your partner, don't you think? Indeed, it's nothing big. Since it's your partner, she won't mind. But, she trusted you. Asami-san was hurt by you. I was hurt by people like you.
(Thinking) I wonder if I can do this. I wonder if I'll cause a lot of trouble...and be disliked...and be told that I'm no longer needed.
(Slightly overwhelmed) Eh? But it's really nothing. My birthday...isn't that big of a deal. Everyone is more excited during christmas, and I've never really done anything before.
Yamato Kurosawa is a 17 year-old male in high school who is considered very attractive and its popular. He is Mei's love interest.
Yamato's voice is medium-low.
(Shocked) Woah, how'd you get that?! Huh? Are you alright? You're bleeding from the tip of your mouth.
(Laughing) Mei, what's with that face?! It's my first time seeing it!
(Strangely calm) I know that you and Mei can easily read people, and I know that part of me is inferior to you. However, since I've known Mei longer than you, I don't think I would lose to you.
Asami Oikawa is Mei Tachibana's classmate and a friend who feels insecure about her large chest. (From the Wikia)
Honestly, I'm thinking of doing this role, but if you have the voice for it I'll be more than happy to give it up!
Asahi's voice is the typical high voice for the cutesy characters in anime. Not the squeaky high, though!
(Cheerful!) Yamato! Good morning!
(Pretending to be happy) It's fine, don't worry about it, Mei...It's always been this way.
(Mad OR sad) You and your narrow mind...
Kenji Nakanashi is the comic relief character for a good part of the series. He's a pervert and a bit insensitive at times, but he learns with the help of his girlfriend, Asami.
Kenji's voice is medium, with a tad bit of low.
(Come on, dude kinda voice) What? I'm just giving them advice!
(Cheeky, until last line) Oh, a knee-length skirt! You don't see that everyday. Now, who does this skirt belong to...? Oh, it's just Tachibana.
It's more of a turn on when you try to hide 'em! Makes guys think you want it.
Aiko Mutō is a bold and tough girl who had strong feelings for Yamato. (Via the Wikia) She eventually befriends Mei and becomes very protective of her. They become very close.
Aiko's voice is medium.
(Haughty disgust) Please, a girl like you with a guy like Yamato?! You've got to be kidding me.
(In tears) Yamato! He...He cheated on me. How could I be so stupid?! It's because I'm ugly, isn't it?!
Then please, if you really believe that's true, then sleep with me.

If you can make music or can find copyright free music for me, that would be absolutely fantastic. It would really help save me some time.

Most manga fanduns involve a lot of editing, and I bet it'll get pretty overwhelming at times. This is in case I can't get some editing done due to school, etc. I'll need one or two of these!
