Project Overview
"Saga of a Space Battleship" is a fan-created animation series based on the series Space Battleship Yamato from 1974. The series functions as a would be 4th series taking place approximately 30 years after the events of the film "Final Yamato." When an unknown enemy is woken and is dead set on destroying not only Earth, but every living being in existence, the Space Battleship Yamato and her crew the StarForce rises again to add a new chapter in her legend, where old characters and new fight for a new tomorrow.

In canon, the Space Battleship Yamato is more than just a ship, she is a character herself. In Saga of a Space Battleship, she is given a voice in the form of the Main Computer. The character starts small with occasional lines through the entire series but will grow to vital importance in Act 3 onward.
While monotone initially, the character will be given form later on and she is incredibly kind and soft spoken, despite being the embodiment of a warship.
