Sablewood : Student Animated Film
Project Overview
Sablewood is a 2d animated student short film, The film is expected runtime to be 3 minutes and 15 seconds long.
A pair of siblings are tracking down the mysterious beast, that had started interrupting the seemingly peaceful life of their forest home. However, their journey into the forest grows friction between the pair. When they finally track down their quarry, will they be able to bring it down?

Hello, this is a casting call for the two main characters in my student film sable wood! this film will act as my final assignment for me to graduate. I will be working from July to around October/ November this year. The deadline for auditions is July 17th 2023. This is paid gig, however, payment will be given
after work and will depend on my budget. I will primarily be communicating a dedicated discord during this project. so I expect people who are at least familiar with Discord as a platform!
Please submit clean audio please! This includes no effects and minimal noise.

Ashe is the lead role in the short film. She is a confident and stubborn hunter. Her personality is as sharp as the sword she wields. She is assertive and often finds herself too invested in her hunts. She is a bit rash and impulsive and often a bit aggressive. But ultimately is a good person.
This role will involve like grunts and breathing,
I imagine her sounding a bit tomboyish, but feel free to do your own interpretation!

(annoyed/ impatient )People don't care about spirits anymore. Now hurry up.
(Agressive) "Are you gonna help me or not? Or are you just a Coward?"
Sionn is the deuteragonist of the film and the brother of Ashe. He tried his best to avoid conflict and violence when he can. having more respect for others and the world around him than his sister. A bit timid and soft-spoken, but he is also compassionate and appreciates nature. He will stand his ground especially when he thinks something is wrong.
