Project Overview
ABOUT THE PROJECT
‘Sa Anino’ is an audio drama created by aplums of Aplumisa Studios, and written with Guhit. The project was initiated to create an opportunity for Filipino voice actors to showcase their voice acting talent in both Tagalog and English languages. The audio drama features a unique take and interpretation of a mythical creature in the Philippines.
Note from the creator:
Thank you for your interest! This is a paid project, however please take note that I’m only a retail part-timer who will soon be a full-time university student. This means that I won’t be able to pay you the proper standard rates, but I would hate to leave you with nothing! Please refer to the characters and their rates below. The main characters’ lines can range around 400 words or so.

Invited by her father back to the Philippines for his political campaign, a college student unveils a horrific secret that answers the puzzling success of a scandalous political dynasty, including her mother’s disappearance—and an unknown creature that feeds from the shadows.
SUBMISSION INFORMATIONQualifications:
You must be/have…
at least 18 years of age to audition or turn 18 years old by the audition deadline.
a Discord account for communication if cast.
a photo of yourself or online avatar if cast (this will be used for promotional purposes).
a PayPal account.
Equipment & Setup:

good quality microphone (XLR microphones are highly preferred).
able to provide WAV files if cast.
a well treated recording space.
Recording Lines:
You must be able to…
speak or convincingly deliver lines in Bisaya/Waray (this only applies to some characters). Practice reads can be arranged to help with these lines.
attend full cast or individual script reads (sessions will be scheduled according to each cast member’s availability).
submit audio files on time.
follow directions for line delivery.
Submit as an MP3 format with little-to-no background noise.
Do NOT edit your audio file. Noise reduction is accepted.
Record no more than three takes for each line using a AAABBBCCC format.
Do not slate your audition file.
In the submission description/text box, include the following if you have them: demo reel, website, social media platforms (Twitter and Discord accounts are required).
IMPORTANT NOTE: References are more so for delivery than voice matching. If you can come up with a more fitting voice based on the character design, feel free to do so.
All lines should be delivered authentically and not cartoonish. You can ad-lib sounds such as chuckles, sighs, etc., if found necessary.
