Hello again, everyone. Cridi here with another casting call for an interesting project.
My client needs a voice actor who can voice an announcer for a fake fighting game by the name of Rumble Hearts! (with an exclamation point at the end). Rumble Hearts! isn't a fighting game in the traditional sense, but rather an experimental commission. My client (a programmer by trade) and his artist are looking to offer an experimental type of commission, where their clients can commission full body pictures of their original characters, which will then be implement in an actual program, that mimics a fighting game and which the client can install and interact with on their PC. So it's a fighting game up until the character select screen. After a fighter is picked, the game won't go past said screen to an actual fighting match.
Since the voice work won't take a lot of time to record and doesn't consist of a considerable amount of lines, he is offering a flat fee of $50 paid through PayPal, with my client covering the transfer fee.

The title says it all. The results were supposed to be published three days ago, but my client had to deal with a sudden emergency. Thankfully, everything seems to have been dealt with and the results will be posted in a few minutes.
As was mentioned in the previous update, auditions that were handed in after the August 7 deadline will not be reviewed!

Allow me to start this update off by thanking everyone for the overwhelming amount of interest that they've shown in this project on my client's behalf!
In about 11 hours, the audition period will officially end and the submission period will close, meaning that we won't review any auditions submitted after the casting call's deadline. The amount of auditions that have been pouring in have been hard to keep up with due to the sheer volume of talented voice actors who've participated in the casting call, but my client has done a relatively good job of reviewing almost all of the auditions.
Even with hours upon hours of reviewing every audition, whittling the list of well over a hundred auditions down to just a handful of actors has been a tough proposition because of the amount of talent on display. Truly, everyone has brought a great performance to the table. So having said that- It shouldn't take long after the deadline's been reached for us to pick an actor.
The actor in question will be messaged immediately, because of the time-sensitive nature of this job, and I will put them in contact with the project lead. Be prepared to record and send in your lines within the the next 3 days if you get picked. Finally, make sure that you have an active PayPal account for my client to send your fee to!

The name of the role is pretty self explanatory. It's the announcer of the game, who will do things like call out the title name on the title screen and call out the character names on the character select screen. The gender of the announcer can be anything!
"Rumble hearts!" (the announcer announces the game's title here. Feel free to do variations of this if you want to)
"Select your fighter."
"Corrupted Soul." (the name of the character that's selected by default when the selection timer expires in the listed YouTube video)
