Rose Tinted Glasses- Audio Drama
Project Overview
The Story of Rose Tinted Glasses is a story of a girl, who falls in love so hard that she loses herself. From a young dreamer to a well trained trad-wife. This story is planned to be released as an audio drama on Youtube, in the style of a visual novel.
This story explores triggering topics such as: racism, sexism, sex, homophobia, abuse, depression and suicidal thoughts.
All roles will be unpaid as it is a passion project/story. All communication for the project moving forward will be on discord. Please add your discord username in notes with auditions/portfolios.

Jeremy is the love interest for Rosie. He starts off very insecure, geeky 14 year old. Using anime and video games to escape from the prejudice of the world. Only to slowly transform into sex-crazed controlling partner. Playing Jeremy will require a sense of emotional maturity and sensitivity as he is an African-American/Black person. You will have to navigate playing a heel turning (hero to villain) PoC character, Themes that will also be explored with Jeremy is: racism, sex, homophobia and sexism.

Vivian "Vivi" is Rosie's friend. While she may be busy with band practice, she always has Rosie's back. She's reliable and supportive of her friends. She usually hangs out with Rosie, Nino and Daniel whenever they share the same class.

(casual) Just wanted to check in with you and catch up. Things have been getting busy for me with band practice. I wanted to make sure you were fine after what happened in health class the other day.
(threatening, overprotective) I find it sickening that girls like you can find entertainment in humiliating others. Try that again on Rosie, and I will personally make your high school experience a living hell.

Nino is Rosie's friend. He likes to tease Rosie, push her buttons. But he also wants what's best for Rosie. Think like an annoying brother type. He is the jock of the friend group (track team). He hangs out with Rosie, Vivi and Daniel whenever they share class.

Nino is Rosie's friend. He tends to keep to himself, but is always looking after Rosie. Like a protective older brother. He is the silent, but reliable type (which I know doesn't help for voice acting lmao). He hangs out with Rosie, Vivi and Nino during class.

Naomi is a classmate of Rosie's. She's a sweetheart, kind person. She was one of Jeremy's old crushes back in middle school... Rosie understands why Jeremy had a crush on Naomi.

Harmony is Rosie's bully, starting all the way back in middle school. She's catty, obsessed with looks. She likes to make fun of Rosie's more prudish nature. Playing her will require a sense of emotional maturity and sensitivity as she deals with themes of sex, sexism, sexual assault and body shaming.

Rosie's Dad. While she loves her father, he puts a lot of pressure on her as the eldest of her sisters. Especially since her parent's divorce. There is also a past of physical abuse between him and Rosie. Playing him will require a sense of emotional maturity and sensitivity as he deals with themes of abuse.

Jeremy's Mom. A very dependable woman but is warped by her own trauma and conspiracies. She opens Rosie with open arms but will end up scaring Rosie. Ultimately molding her into a meek little house wife. Playing Jeremy's Mom will require a sense of emotional maturity and sensitivity as she is an African-American/Black person. Themes that will also be explored with Jeremy's mom is: racism, homophobia, religious trauma/traumatizer.

The embodiment of Rosie's psychosis manifest. Playing this role will require a sense of emotional maturity and sensitivity as she deals with themes of depression, suicidal thoughts, sex, sexual coercion, abuse, etc. Either way, be the bad thoughts that haunt her.
