(Revamped) The Sims: Bustin' Out (Game Boy Advance Game Fandub) Chapter 2: Escape of the Chickens

Project Overview

(This is a revamped casting call, as I'm finding time to come back to it after a while! The deadlines aren't official, and I've still got a FAIR bit of work to do before I cast and assign voices. After I finish a Super Monkey Ball Adventure Fandub chapter that I've finally got all the voices for, I'll give out an official deadline and update the title.)

(All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't matter, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. Good luck auditioning, and if you get cast for a role, be prepared to possibly stick around for future projects! Enjoy, Future Jigglypuff Loving Simmers!)

Just when I seemed to really get the hang of living on my Uncle's farm in SimValley, I get a more difficult chore ahead of me as I find out that my Uncle Hayseed's chickens have escaped somehow YET again... Both me and my Uncle realize that something really screwy is going on here, since this is the 6th time that the chickens have been let loose this month, and I realize I must be a detective and find out who's exactly the culprit of this chaos... But that's easier said than done, not just because closing the case will take quite a lot of figuring out and puzzle-work, but also because I have to go toe-to-toe with an angry biker who's blocking up the roads with his motorcycles where the shady figure could be hiding... Will I be brave enough to calm this big strong biker down and be willing to work with him and run errands so that the biker will keep his end of the deal, and make the road all free again?

(This is a non-profit Game Boy Advance Sims video game fandub made possible through a G.B.A computer emulator, Bandicam, and all the video editing magic of Wondershare Filmora. This game dub will be uploaded to my YouTube Channel and will be split into different videos, one video for each chapter at a time.)

Dusty Hogg

Former pro wrestler, now world-class biker of SimValley all the way up to SimCity, (Or at least that's what he believes.) Dusty Hogg has quite a bit of a mean streak. He's an unsympathetic, rude, hot-headed, and selfish biker who has a temper much shorter than his sunglasses. If you see this bully of a biker around, don't expect a warm welcome. As well as hitting the highway on his motorcycle, Dusty also earns a fair amount of profit doing some odd jobs. Unfortunately, the kind of odd jobs Dusty does have been deemed publicly illegal, making Hogg end up having a run-in with the law quite a few times! All of these flaws don't mean Dusty is heartless and all bad, however. If you prove that you're as tough as nails, this biker might just be giving you the respect you need, opening up his more friendly and generous side to you! But whatever you do, don't tick Dusty Hogg off... A single hard punch from him could leave your body bedridden in a hospital cot if you're not careful!

For Dusty Hogg's voice, I'm looking for a tough-sounding male low-mid pitched adult voice with either a North American accent or South American accent.

  • I'm Dusty Hogg, the roughest, toughest, meanest man on two wheels from here to SimCity. So why are you bugging me, kid?

  • *Amused Chuckling* You really think you're for real, kid? *Laughs* Don't make me laugh, small fry! Hmm, I will admit though, you've got quite some guts to challenge the fastest, meanest SimValley biker to a race... But you're also pretty dumb to set yourself up for failure, kid! *Hearty Chuckle* Drink it up!

  • *Bonus For Fun* Do some improv. Say something you think would fit. Any sentence relying on this character's personality will do! You can even act out some lines from this character that you remember from the actual game if you want to!

Detective Dan D. Mann

Dan D. Mann is SimValley's best (If only) police officer. His no-nonsense personality could make him a bit too serious to get along with, but Dan is a kind-hearted man deep down. He takes his job very seriously, and doesn't allow any sort of crimes committed to be ignored on his watch! As soon as the word comes around, Dan instantly springs into action to investigate! There is one culprit in particular that Dan really wants to get his hands on, and believe it or not, the law-defying culprit isn't actually a person, but rather a giant and vicious-looking rooster! The Veloci-Rooster was responsible for the death of Dan's sister, leaving the poor police officer heartbroken... Determined to avenge his sister's death, and dish out some criminal justice, Dan vowed that one day, that pesky Veloci-Rooster will rue the day that it ever messed with the Mann family!

For Detective Dan D. Mann's voice, I'm looking for a male, and a bit gruff low-mid pitched adult voice with either a North American accent or a South American accent. And as you see, some of the lines include my name in it. Don't worry about the possibility of mispronouncing my name, I get that a lot. Once you get cast for this role, I'll then tell you how my name's properly pronounced.

  • Detective Dan D. Mann at your service, Jai. If you're ever in need of a police officer, I'm your Mann! *Chuckles awkwardly* Get it? Mann?

  • Sorry kid, I'm a police officer, not a bodyguard. As much as I'd love to as a way of assistance, I can't be sticking around by your side all day in catching that dreaded Veloci-Rooster, unfortunately. There are still so many vicious crimes boiling up in this world that don't take a vacation, you know!

  • *Bonus For Fun* Do some improv. Say something you think would fit. Any sentence relying on this character's personality will do! You can even act out some lines from this character that you remember from the actual game if you want to!

Nora Zeal-Ott

Nora is a bubbly, bright, & cheerful young woman who's running for the Assistant Associate Treasurer role, a political position in SimValley. It appears as though all the excitement of the election day coming close, and all the responsibilities that come with the role, have all gone right through Nora's head, as she's now more cheerful & enthusiastic than usual. Some would say a little TOO cheerful... Let's hope that Nora's visions and expectations aren't too far away from the harsh reality she could face... Another fun fact about Nora is that she's actually the cheery niece of SimValley police officer Dann D. Mann and the daughter of Dann's late sister! Who unfortunately met her untimely demise coming face to face with the vicious Veloci-Rooster... Something that has really broken Nora's heart since... But that hasn't stopped this young woman's enthusiastic attitude and goals of rising up in the political party! Some things never change with Nora.

For Nora Zeal-Ott's voice, I'm looking for a cheerful, bubbly, enthusiastic, youthful, cutesy and adorable-sounding high-pitched female voice. Don't worry about the possibility of mispronouncing my name, I get that a lot. Once you get cast for this role, I'll then tell you how my name's properly pronounced.

  • Pleasure to meet you, Jai. I'm Nora Zeal-Ott, Miss SimValley three years running and candidate for the Assistant Associate Treasurer position in this year's election, or A.A.T for short. I hope I can count on your vote!

  • (Cheerful) Hi there, good citizens of SimValley! I'm Nora Zeal-Ott, but you can all call me Miss SimValley... Or Miss Zeal-Ott if you prefer. Vote for me, and you'll receive a free cute little button with my adorable Miss SimValley trademark on it! So? Does any Sim wanna vote? Er... Anybody?

Giuseppi Mezzoalto

Giuseppi Mezzoalto, the main antagonist of the game, is quite a shady figure to say the least! He appears at the port near the beach at midnight with a big van full of furniture and decorative trinkets to purchase. You may think that his business could've failed that easily because when you see someone like him opening a shop like this at midnight, you might know best to steer clear of this guy. However, Giuseppi really knows how to reel his customers in with jaw-dropping bargains and deals! Giuseppi also appears nice to me when I first meet him, as he's eager to help me move into a new home all on my own with weekly rent. However, later on in the game, I get an unpleasant surprise when I see Giuseppi's evil side... But that is a story for another chapter in the fandub later on...

For Giuseppi Mezzoalto's voice, I'm looking for a male medium-pitched adult voice with an Italian-American accent.

  • Hey hey! How you doin'? I'm Giuseppi Mezzoalto, businessman and family guy. If you need something, anything at all, I can get it for ya, kid... even if it belongs to someone else.

  • (Frustrated) Are you even gonna pay your weekly household rent AT ALL, wiseguy? I mean, I get it, you must really have a phobia of bills somehow, but sometimes in life, we NEED to face our fears. That's just how the cookie crumbles, kid!
