Trying to make an abridged series of rent a girlfriend!!
Hello! You can call me Inu or Nico, either is fine and I have been trying to get into the "abridged, in minutes, ect" parody scene! :)
DISCLAIMER: WHILE THIS PROJECT ISN'T EXACTLY NSFW AS ITS GOING UP ON YOUTUBE IT DOES FEATURE SOME PRETTY ADULT TOPICS AND I'D PREFER IF YOU GO INTO THIS KNOWING THAT, OR EVEN BETTER HAVING WATCHED, UNDERSTOOD, AND ENJOYED THE EXISTING SERIES "RENT A GIRLFRIEND" THANK YOU!
I AM PREPARING SOME SCRIPTS BUT THEY AREN'T ALL DONE AND ARE STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS WHICH IS WHY THE DEADLINE IS SO EXTENDED FOR THIS AS I WAIT FOR HELP WITH SCRIPTING OR FINISH PRIOR TO GETTING THAT!!
REQUIREMENTS -
Interest in the project and hopefully the series! It'd just make things move a lot smoother, but this one isn't EXACTLY a requirement as long as you're aware of the topics (just check the audition lines to get a sense of the humor)
DEADLINES | I'm fine with extending deadlines for a valid reason and I overall am pretty generous when it comes to getting lines in on time but what I don't want is a dragged out project with no progress cause I've definitely made those before lol (not always due to va's though sometimes I have personal stuff come up, we all do!!) Hopefully once scripts are sent out lines will be done in 1-3 Weeks or so!
AUDIO: GOOD AUDIO QUALITY WITH LITTLE TO NO BACKGROUND NOISE, DISTORTION, OR PLOSIVES WOULD BE FAVORED OVER OTHER AUDITIONS, I DON'T MIND IF YOU HAVE A USB, XLR, OR WHATEVER TYPE OF MIC I AM JUST WANTING IT TO SOUND DECENT QUALITY!
I'M REALLY HOPING IF YOU AUDITION YOU HAVE DISCORD TO COMMUNICATE AS IT WILL JUST MAKE EVERYTHING MUCH MUCH EASIER.. GMAIL IS AN OPTION BUT NOT PREFERRED.. (ALSO DON'T GHOST ME !! I HOPE FOR A RESPONSE WITHIN A DAY OR SO)

I am looking for someone who hopefully has prior experience with both the series rent a girlfriend and knows what it is all about, as well as someone who has experience writing anime parodies and abridged series. I have already prepared the first episode's script and started on the second episode script at the time of writing this (2/24/24) and I will be actively working as I wait for someone to audition for this role. I am just looking for some help with figuring out what to cut and thinking of some clever jokes is all which I've got sorta down! :) [The main reason why the deadline is like 5 weeks is to wait for a suitable script writer and other major roles)

I'm not exactly familiar with audio engineering anything that isn't really music myself.. So it would be greatly appreciated to have someone who can help out with that! If no one ends up auditioning for this role I guess I'll try doing it myself just as I will try editing myself!

ROLE - Main Character
BACKGROUND - Kazuya Kinoshita is the main male protagonist of the Rent A Girlfriend series. He is a college student who after being dumped by his previous girlfriend, out of desperation "rents a girlfriend" named Chizuru Mizuhara and his life spirals into crazy inconveniently coincidences from there.
PERSONALITY - Kazuya is an indecisive man with a very low level of self-esteem. As a result, he end up compulsively lying to those around him without hesitation. His lies often get him into trouble, because he cannot muster the strength to tell the truth and he's very emotion-based, often acting irrationally and illogically which result unable stand up for himself and frequently jump to conclusion. ROLE - Main Supporting Character
BACKGROUND - She is the main female in this series. Chizuru is also a college student who is living one side of her life as a rental girlfriend. After meeting Kazuya her life also spirals into a ton of crazy coincidences.
PERSONALITY - At first glance, Chizuru comes across as very kind and considerate, which positively surprises anyone who considers renting, and makes them give high ratings to her. While her kindness is genuine, she is still prideful of her reputation, and can be a little irritable and brash when her ratings go down. She shows this side of her to people she dislikes or has to put up with, such as Kazuya. (Wiki)

My Grandmother somehow just so happens to be inconveniently checked in to the same exact hospital as yours which is a really weird coincidence considering I just met you over a pretend dating app.. [Concern slowly turning into confusion]

ROLE -Main Supporting Character
BACKGROUND - Ruka Sarashina is a supporting character and occasional minor antagonist of the series. She is a girl whose heart beats slower than the average person and she seeks a lover that will help her cope with her condition.
PERSONALITY - Ruka is described to be a cheerful, determined, and passionate girl. She is a straightforward person who is honest with her feelings. On the flip side, her traits often convey her as being self-centered, pushy and possessive. This personality of hers developed after learning of her condition and being alienated from her peers. Because of this, she became very fixated on the idea that getting a boyfriend would help her in having a faster heartbeat. (Wiki)

BACKGROUND - Sumi Sakurasawa is one of the main female deuteragonists of the series. She is a first-year college student and works as a rental girlfriend with Chizuru's company, where she is a newcomer to the industry.
PERSONALITY - Sumi is an extremely shy and timid individual who hardly ever speaks and when she does, it's only in a soft tone. This shows when she first met Kazuya and the consecutive times they spent their time together; only nodding, using facial expressions, and sign language as forms of communication. (Wiki)

BACKGROUND - Yoshiaki Kibe is one of the minor characters in Rent A Girlfriend. He is the close childhood friend and college schoolmate of Kazuya Kinoshita.
