ECW INCURSION!
Project Overview
'ECW Incursion' is a machinima-like series based on the WWE2K engine and it follows a multiversal promotion that gathers characters from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, various anime and more!
Captain America holds the World Heavyweight Championship and aims to keep the title with him to build its prestige. However, The Dark Knight himself Batman believes he is a greater candidate, even after he lost the first time. With the assembly of factions like the Mario Bros., and The Empire alike, each match and segment brings everyone closer to a brink of civil war. Meanwhile, in the women's division, Barbie holds their Woman's World Championship and her pompous attitude has pushed many buttons: two examples being "The Prettiest Guardian" Sailor Moon and the faction of Princess Club, where royal bloodline is the ticket of entry. Anyone and everyone could appear, and for all challengers: Come one, come all.
REQUIREMENTS:
Decent mic! - All is encouraged as long as it's audible and has little-to-no background noise
Access to Discord + email - Our server is how all screenplays are delivered, as well as any production updates. Email would be the best way to deliver audio, but Discord would be fine if not!
Longevity - Because this is a rolling series and there is not an end in the foreseeable future, I would like for everyone in the cast to stick along! Please let me know if that is okay on your part. There is no contract and of course, life happens. However, it'll be fair if we communicate and make sure we're on the same page.

[LEAD] - The Women’s World Champion and the self-proclaimed Teflon Doll. She is being targeted by both fronts and aims to ensure protection for herself and her championship. While “people” skills aren’t her forte, she does have incredible skills in the ring that backs up her talk. She belittles her opponents with a smile on her face. Her motto, of course? GATEKEEP, GASLIGHT, GIRLBOSS! [LINE 1] gives a window of how often she is disgusted by everyday environment. [LINE 2] gives one of her overblown high-class bursts. It shows she is being laughed AT, not with. [LINE 3] shows her promo abilities and how to use her words like weapons—weapons as in landmines to plant in one’s mind she is in the right, no matter if whether she believes what she says, even if it’s generally true.

If I recall correctly, I hold one of two of the most prestigious belts in this business, and I might as well say the quiet part out loud, but it would be secondary if not for me. See, gals like us do double the work for half the credit. So why *do* I have to be a workhorse to prove its worth? It’s attached to the headliner of the marquee. Everyone knows who Barbie is and I know I don’t show up to work. Duh. It was my GOAL to subvert everyone. (giggle) If you really think about it, I might be more punk than she is.
[GUEST/RECURRING] - A smart cookie that shoves it in people’s faces a lot, she teams with Rainbow Dash to have the E.V.P. faction. Because of her high-status intelligence, it fills her ego and gets pouty over spilled milk. This brings a lot of comedic standpoints, even if it’s not intentional. [LINE 1] is her introduction and you can play with this however you see fit! [LINE 2] is an example of her smugness being quote-unquote ‘diluted’. [LINE 3] is how she reacts at outrageous requests (ie. teaming up with a stranger)

While I loathe to be centimeters close to you peasents—I mean, my apologies—subordinates…I could suffer the fate and look at the grandest photo for a deserved and due title shot.

[GUEST, later RECURRING] The De-facto boss of Princess Club, and the most high maintenance. She takes the attitude of “princess” to an amazing degree. Down to the pompous and elegent way of speaking. She seeks to “fix” the women’s division as she sees them as savages and using their fists. But that doesn’t stop her from fighting back herself. [LINE 1] is her being reassuring and caring / showing love and support for her fellow Princesses. Mostly. [LINE 2] is an example of her being a strong leader. Where she goes, everyone follows. [LINE 3] is a mix of both, but leans more towards demanding because of her status, not because of respect.

[GUEST/RECURRING] The Dark Lord of the Sith is the leader of The Empire faction with Count Dooku and Darth Maul, and branches out to become a family man by trying to recruit Luke Skywalker to unite his bloodline and rule the galaxy promotion. A booming voice with an echoing effect. **REVERB MUST BE ADDED BEFOREHAND** [LINE 1] is a direct comment, a tad snarky or maybe a little sly. [LINE 2] is the angriest and brings out the Sith side by being commanding and especially demanding in the last sentence. [LINE 3] can be interpreted as sassy or continuing the “commanding” theme. But sassy is funnier.

[GUEST] - The General Manager of ECW, and he comes by for impromptu announcements & breaking up fights. Created the multiverse portal to fund an independent pro-wrestling spot. He loves the promotion and is acting like a theatre kid with a budget. [LINE 1] showcases that the most as he sounds like a typical school-play director. [LINE 2] is also very silly, and is his way of showing punishment—by being over-the-top and entertaining everyone else! [LINE 3] is his best effort to keep things

[RECURRING] - After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship, THE DARK KNIGHT does not stay in anguish, but uses his loss as fuel to become better. Similar to Undertaker in 2007, he catches eyes by being a gothic veteran and tries to show the audience he can be the face of the place. Gruff voice preferred, but you can play around with it. Impressions welcome, but not necessary—this is a separate Batman that is only just adjacent to Prime-Bats. [LINE 1] is a neutral-tone, just how the character sound. Feel free to interpret! [LINE 2] is part of a promo/monologue, this line in particular is fired-up, anger at the fact the Champion is keeping the belt hostage, and then remains calm to tell him his truth. [LINE 3] is also part of a promo/monologue and it is part of a conversation that Batman joined ECW because of the next-generation after him and wants to make sure they know their Ps & Qs. You can interpret it as bittersweet, heartfelt, passionate: whatever feels right with the character with this context!
Captain, I’ll make sure when we face off in the ring again, the outcome will be different.
AND WHEN YOU ARE AGAIN TARGETED FOR BEING THE SO-CALLED SAVIOUR OF ECW…Instead of saving your ass, I’ll watch from the bleachers. And I will watch you crack.
When I came in, I saw kids and new faces that reminded me of my own. And I thought to myself. They are lucky. They are lucky that this place can help the exchange of hate and anger to discipline and respect. Immaturity into rationality. If there is one thing that is crucially missing, it’s enforcement.
[RECURRING/LEAD(?)] - The new-recruiter and presented to be bar none the best signing, Superman’s humbleness orders him not to chase the gold firsthand, but to uplift everyone. His particular focus is on Batman, and wanting to tag-team together, even if Batman is not interested. An all-American hero, he can be showcased as the old-timey radio voice that is booming or a softie boy that still puts bass in his voice. [LINE 1] As a cold open, Superman gives the bad news with a sense of hesitation as the news is actually worse than what it is. After he finishes the bad news, the crowd would boo in disappointment so Superman tries to cheer them up and get riled up to be there for them all they want and creating a case to be a top face (good-guy) of the promotion. [LINE 2] Superman is not interested in gold. But wants to respect its legacy and its holders without getting too messy. He is basically following his mom’s “if you have nothing nice to say…” [LINE 3] is part of a promo/monologue. It shows various ranges—to grief of his parents, to lighthearted laughter in terms of divine intervention and then closing off with a heartfelt moment about his purpose + the way to win your audience over.

The bad news is everyone, is that you might have to wait just a tiny bit more for Ol’ Red and Blue to get in this ring. However, however: the good news is the wait will be worth it because I promise to be with ECW every damn day!
Now if the opportunity to go for the World Heavyweight Championship comes my way, then of course. I’ll gladly take it with pride. But no beefs, no trash talks. That’s not the way I do it. Even if whoever has it—I’m not saying names—aren’t quite fond of me.
You want to know pain, sir? I am the last of my kind. I fulfill my right to protect the home I’ve lived in just for Lady Luck to not hand me all the riches. Sure, I can live in a not-so-decent apartment and I don’t mind a diet on just toast and berries. Because I don’t suffer, I smile through it. Ironically enough, I am not one to speak on divine intervention, but someone out there wanted me here. Maybe it was my father, my mother. Or maybe it’s everyone surrounding me today.
[RECURRING] - The former Power Ranger plays a dastardly heel and despite his high-flying maneuvers, his angst comes straight from early 2000s MTV Top 10 videos and vintage Hot Topic aesthetics. Much more is revealed about Tommy that seperate him from past incarnations. Methodical yet pragmatic, he is an ace on how to do things the smart way and not the hard way. [LINE 1] is more a lighthearted attitude for a jab like this. [LINE 2] is more respectfully the tone he carries for the series—at best, slow candence and at worst, full meltdown, a.k.a. [LINE 3].

[GUEST] - One of the members of the Princess Club, while she is more cool-headed compared to her peers, she does perceive the attitude all members of Princess Club feel—the need for obedience. Definitely a follower than a leader.
