Project Overview
GAME DESCRIPTION
As a necromancer, Raenelle Talisko's job is to reanimate the corpses of the recently deceased to help them fulfill their last wishes. Between the never-ending workload and the myriad of angry or distraught spirits she has to deal with, Raenelle longs for a vacation — and more importantly, a transfer to a different position.
As though the Twelve Deities have heard Raenelle’s prayers, all the spirits somehow vanish overnight, giving her the break she’s been asking for. That is until Raenelle is summoned to the Headquarters of the Imperial Necromancy Authority along with all death mages, tasked with resolving this crisis that has thrown the kingdom into panic.
Unfortunately, there is no time for Raenelle to rest — not when she finds herself becoming increasingly entangled in the mystery of the missing spirits, discovering much more than she asked for.

FURTHER PROJECT DETAILS
- This is a romance / otome visual novel, with a female main character and 5 love interests (4 male and 1 female).
- The game will be a commercial release, sold on Steam and Itch.io etc. It has already been funded on Kickstarter a couple years ago.
- This game will contain partial voice acting. It'll be mainly sounds, words, short phrases, and then some full lines for the CG scenes.
- This is a recast of the role of one of the main characters / love interests — Sebastien, the cat shapeshifter, due to schedule conflicts with the previous voice actor. As the character is dark-skinned, we are primarily looking for Black male voice actors for this role.
WORK DETAILS
- Recording is expected to take place in early to mid 2023. It will be done remotely, but in live sessions over Discord with our casting & voice director (Yin Yang Voices).
- Non-union work.
- 1 hour session at the rate of US$75 per hour with a 2 hour minimum guaranteed. If pickups are needed later, they will be paid at the rate of US$0.25 per word.
- All payment will be made via PayPal.
- A contract will have to be signed once it's confirmed that you'll be doing voiceover work for the role, so please be 18+ and be willing to sign a contract PDF with your real name.

Character Biography
Possessing the ability to shift between the forms of a human and a feline, Sebastien has been the familiar of the Talisko family for generations, providing mentoring and guidance to fresh mages. Sensible and rational, he can be serious to a fault, failing to see humor in things. He also has an irritable temperament and a sharp tongue, paired with an impudent attitude that easily offends others.
Additional Personality Details
- Basically the personality of a grumpy jerk of a cat. Really sassy. Blunt, has a sharp tongue. Usually a jerk. A huge know-it-all. Sometimes quite oblivious / obtuse, particularly when it comes to human emotions, so he often comes off as insensitive. Very impatient. Distrustful.
- Generally serious and mature. Sometimes lacks a sense of humor and jokes fly over his head, but the things he does often come off as unintentionally funny to the main cast.
- Very loyal. Secretly loving, but pretends not to be.
- Really curious and loves learning. Can’t turn down a challenge.
- As the character is dark-skinned, we are currently prioritizing Black male voice actors for this role. Please indicate when auditioning whether you fit this criteria.
