Re:Sound - Barrage Manga
Project Overview
Are there any comics or mangas that you wish were made into shows or animes? Is there a story you wish more people could see and enjoy as much as you did?
So do we. At Evil Cake Studios, we love reading. But we also know how impactful music, voice acting, and sound in general can uplift and define the impact a story makes. So, we decided to add the sound for published materials that otherwise wouldn't get that kind of treatment, but are good enough to warrant them.
Who knows? Maybe some of our projects can garner enough traction to get an animation team behind it.
We're looking for dynamic, character-driven voice actors to cast in our first installment of this project. If you're good, we'll likely hold onto you for future projects and stories down the line.
Requirements:
-High quality recording environment, with professional sound
-Willing to work with voice director via video call to nail the takes
-Desire to learn and develop characters from established dialogue, and breathe a unique life into them
-Deep passion for making a project and/or character shine through your performance, and teachability regarding your performance
-Possibly willing to market the project and share it, so that more projects like this can be created, and more stories can be told.
This is a great opportunity if you're just starting out and want some experience, or if you're wanting to work in more character focused realms, like TV, anime, video games, etc.
For now, the roles are not paid as we are doing all the recording, mixing, and mastering work ourselves, as well as music comp, directing, marketing, and editing. But, as more projects get made, we are going to be paying actors from the returns, so future projects will be lucrative and we will be a good source for ongoing roles and material.

I remembered that today.
