"Rabbit Trap" is an upcoming animated student film and my Senior Thesis is in the final stages of production! We are a small crew of film and animation students and we are in URGENT need of voice actors willing to lend their talents for our project!
The story follows a hungry rabbit hunter who set out some traps to catch his dinner. However, he is interrupted by a mischievous little rabbit who outsmarts him, embarrasses him in front of a beautiful maiden! But this ultimately brings them closer together, creating an unlikely found family of three!
- These voice roles are solely efforts, (grunts, groans, reacts, hems and haws.) We are looking for actors with expressive voices and familiarity with this staple of animation voice acting.
- The deadline for the film is coming up soon, so once all talent are casted, recordings must be sent in within a week. Specifically the week of April 10-17. Due to this tight deadline, this will be a paid job. Payment will be through PayPal.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- Good microphone quality
- Discord (preferred) and/or email along with audition
- Lines recorded in AAA BBB CCC format. Try different approaches with each take!

The Hunter is a gruff, burly man who is rough on the outside, but has a soft side for the ones he grows to care about. A true gentle giant!
- His voice is gruff, low, and rough. Conveying the feel of a tough outdoorsman.
- This role is solely efforts (grunts, gasps, reacts)
"Grrrr..." (Low growl, angry)
zzz... huh!? (snoring, sleeping, then suddenly awoken by a loud sound!)
The Rabbit is a mischievous little guy with lots of energy and always up to fooling hunters out in the woods.
- His voice is squeaky, high, but expressive! (Think Scrat from Ice Age)
- This role is exclusively efforts, (grunts, gasps, reacts)
Yoo-hoo! (Calling attention, teasing)
Hee hee hee! (Giggling)
Hup! Hup! Hup! (Jumping effort)
The Maiden is a sweet and gentle girl who goes out to her orchard to pick apples. She is kind, caring, and generous to everyone who needs help.
- Her voice is high, soft, and princess-like. (Think Snow White or Sleeping Beauty)
- This role is solely efforts (grunts, gasps, reacts)
Huh? (As if you noticed something odd)
Hee hee! (Giggle)
Gasp! (As if you were surprised!)
