6 episode audio drama. This is intended to be the first season of many.
Synopsis: In the year 2121, the world is ruled by a dark, extraterrestrial figure known as THE ABOVE. This dystopian version of the future lacks all semblance of hope, until the heroes of the past return to rise up against this oppressive force and undo the rewriting of history: THE POWER RANGERS.

25 years old. Asian American male. Kai was raised to be a warrior. He's never known a normal life. At 15 he became a Darth Vader type figure called The Reaper. The Right Hand to the evil emperor that conquered the world years ago. He can be very stoic, as that's all he's ever known. He wants to find redemption for all the evil things he's done. Becoming the Red Ranger gives him the means to do just that.

26 years old. Caucasian male. A lone wolf type. A member of the underground resistance movement trying to overthrow the fascistic regime that conquered the Earth almost a century ago. Pierce is a gay man and had a long lasting relationship with Marcus before they were driven apart. Pierce carries a lot of weight on his shoulders, as everyday he wakes up to fight a war with no end in sight. He thinks it's his job alone to save the world.

25 years old. African American female. When Tiffany was young, she wanted to be a hard hitting reporter. Soon after landing her dream job as an on-camera reporter, she slowly finds that in this world, there's no such thing as journalism. Her spirit is slowly crushed as she is forced to become a propaganda machine for the dictator who rules her planet. Though the fire inside her was smothered, it never stopped burning, and becoming the Pink Ranger has allowed her to break free from what's been holding her back. Tiffany is shaking her programming and looking to become a defender of the truth.

21 years old. Hispanic American male. Luke is an average Joe. Everyday he's just trying to get by with as little strife as possible. He deals with anxiety but doesn't know what the source of it is. All his life, he's watched all the horrible things happening around them and is forced to accept them as normal. Deep, deep down, past all his programming, he knows that it's wrong, but has never felt he could do anything about it. Being the Blue Ranger was never something he asked for, but it will slowly become the thing he's been looking for to take control of his life.

24 years old. Native American female. Diana wanted a life in the arts, but before she could find that part of herself, she was forced to join the Academy and join the fascistic regime's numbers. Shortly after graduating the Academy, she was handpicked to join Kai's private intel group. She doesn't know why. Being in this position terrifies her. She's spent years feeling like she's walking on egg shells. She misses the comradery she felt with her peer's in her youth. As the Yellow Ranger, she's found a new place to belong.

28 years old. Caucasian male. If Kai was the dictator's right hand man, then Hunter was his left. Like Kai, Hunter was raised to be a warrior, but always found himself in Kai's shadow. After playing second-fiddle to Kai all those years, he was ready for more. Becoming the Green Ranger gives him the opportunity to strike back at Kai and take his rightful place alongside the dictator. He is deeply troubled and looking to lash out. This is an Evil Green Ranger who can't be redeemed.

The dictator who took over the world decades ago. Not much is known about him. He is not of the Earth. He has rewritten history to remove the Power Rangers' influence from it. He is a collector of old Ranger tech and uses the power within it for his nefarious purposes. He is cold and ageless. His motives cannot be understood.

They grew apart as he tried to eliminate any distraction that would get in the way of him impressing his parents. He wants to prove he can be a leader like them and finds himself jumping head-first into situations. He is duty-bound. His first love is the mission of liberating the world from fascistic control.

A robot companion to the Power Rangers. He's been offline for nearly a century and is awoken to a world where all of his friends have died. He's ready to help in any way he can. He's very similar to the classic Alpha 5 but is definitely wearing his age on his sleeve.
