Deadline Extended
After receiving several DMs, I'm extending the deadline to give people a chance to audition. Thank you to everyone who has submitted thus far.
This casting call is for various characters to voice in an English fandub of the Persona Q2 character trailers.
Despite being localized, Persona Q2 did not receive an official English dub, unlike the first game. As a result, the character trailers are still in Japanese. I plan to translate and create a fandub of all the trailers to match the style of those released for the first game.
NOTE: Some of the audition lines contain spoilers.
Requirements/Rules Before Auditioning
- You MUST have good microphone quality (No background noise, No echo, No reverb)
- You MUST have discord. Discord will be my main method of communication with you.
- Keep in mind, each character has their own trailer but also appear in other trailers.
- You can audition for as many characters as you like, actors may be cast as multiple characters.
There are some characters missing, I already have VA's covering them.
If there are any questions, please let me know!

Before the story begins, Yukari's father passed away, leading to a strained relationship with her mother. Despite her cheerful exterior, Yukari is secretly very lonely. While she deeply values bonds and relationships, she fears letting anyone get too close, worried they'll uncover her traumatic past. The protagonist is an exception, as they share a bond over their shared losses.

Junpei, often described as the class clown, is an outgoing and kind individual with a strong desire to be recognized as a hero. Due to his upbringing, he rarely reveals his true feelings, such as jealousy and an inferiority complex, to his friends or teammates. Despite this, Junpei can be very generous and is quick to apologize when he's done something wrong. Like many teenage boys at his school, he jokes about getting with girls or other perverse activities, but is rarely seen speaking to girls outside of his dormmate

Her affluent upbringing has shielded her from ordinary teenage experiences, such as trying hamburgers, which are otherwise commonplace for her peers.

This trait serves as a coping mechanism following the death of his mother at a young age, which essentially forced him to relinquish his childhood prematurely. He's known for his honesty, diligence, and profound care for his peers, especially the members of S.E.E.S.

Fuuka is a reserved, shy, and timid girl who seldom voices her thoughts. Prior to joining S.E.E.S., her introverted nature made her a target for school bullies. Teddie, embodying the mascot character archetype, brings a bubbly and cute energy to investigations, often lightening the mood. As a Shadow unfamiliar with the human world, or due to his cartoonish nature, he maintains a childlike naivety and innocence, lacking understanding of human customs like "scoring a hot stud" or "man whore." When first met, Marie appears cold and antisocial—sullen, cranky, sarcastic, irritable, and prone to mood swings. She freely voices her opinions, regardless of others' feelings, and rarely apologizes, surprising the team when she does. Unlike others, she believes there's no such thing as truth and sees no point in searching for it. Over time, it becomes clear her "lack of emotion" masks shyness, insecurity, and naïveté. Without memories, she humorously misnames things like electric outlets and asks the protagonist to show her Inaba to learn about the world and herself. Marie often expresses her thoughts in poems about farewells and existentialism, reflecting her quest to understand her origins.

Margaret is professional and quiet, more mature than her siblings Elizabeth, Theodore, and Lavenza, though she shares Elizabeth's sense of humour. She shows her angry side in Persona Q when Theodore wets her hair and in Persona Q2 during Caroline and Justine's fusion accident. Deeply concerned about Elizabeth's relationship with the protagonist of Persona 3, Margaret respects her decision to leave the Velvet Room to rescue him, demonstrating her loyalty to Igor. She can be quite intimidating when angry.

Misunderstood as arrogant and selfish, she lacks real authority and fears repercussions from the principal. Keeping secrets to maintain her image, including knowledge of Sae's Palace, Makoto struggles with self-worth, feeling overshadowed by her successful sister. Trained in aikido and enjoying violent action movies, she has a compliant temperament but is level-headed and kind, almost motherly in nature.

Despite his inexperience, he often assumes a caretaker role, yet receives more support than he gives. He balances this with a rational and responsible demeanour, admiring humanity's resilience in facing challenges.

Caroline exhibits a classic tsundere attitude, acting mean-spirited and aloof to disguise any affectionate feelings toward the protagonist. She refers to him as "inmate" and kicks him into the Velvet Room. Caroline is generally ill-tempered and impatient, even as she grows to respect the protagonist as a friend. Despite her harsh exterior, she has moments of vulnerability.
Justine, in contrast, is calm and soft-spoken but still treats the protagonist condescendingly, addressing him as a prisoner. She calmly escorts the player to their cell and is the first to question their true purpose, noticing inconsistencies like possessing an intricate bookmark but having no books to read.
NOTE: I would prefer one VA for both characters, but you are free to audition for just one.
