OMORI: A Song Cover Musical!
Project Overview
CASTING CALL
We are looking for singers and voice actors to do recordings for our production. All cast members are expected to sound professional with good audio quality and singing talent. There are no rehearsals, no script readings, no group meetings. You are only required to make your character’s voice recordings and submit. (Optionally, you may do video production yourself using the OFF VOCAL MV provided.)
You will also be provided with a CONCEPT VOCALS MV sung by me (Grey-Spark), to help give you an idea how to sing the lyrics. I am not a professional singer, and the singing and audio quality featured in the CONCEPT VOCALS are not at all reflective of what is expected of your submissions. You’re supposed to sound much better than me. Which is why I need you!
ALL APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS MUST BE MADE BY:
OCTOBER 31ST 2023, 11:00 PM (PT) (Roles will start to be given out.)
NOVEMBER 17TH 2023, 11:00 PM (PT) (Auditions will no longer be accepted.)
ALL FINAL VOICE RECORDINGS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY:
DECEMBER 22TH 2023 11:00 PM (PT)
We aim to complete the production by Christmas, December 25th 2023.
PURPOSE / DISCLAIMER
OMORI: A Song Cover Musical! is a collection of song covers adding lyrics to the original soundtrack featured in the hit indie game OMORI.
This project has no association with OMOCAT and is not meant to be made into a real-life stage play, nor is it a play in any meaningful sense. Rather it is a collection of songs that could hypothetically be featured in an OMORI-themed musical that does not exist. Therefore, should be considered 16 song covers released to the internet.
ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Anyone is allowed to apply for any role, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual identity, etc.
We will be selecting who sounds best for the part. You can also apply for multiple parts.

Script consultation will be available to those selected cast members, where they may ask questions about the script or provide suggestions.
MONETARY COMPENSATION WAIVER
This a fan project forbidden from any profit-making using OMOCAT IP. Any work submitted cannot be financially compensated.
DISTRIBUTION / VIDEO UPLOAD RIGHTS
All song covers are going to be uploaded to YouTube.
The individual songs may be uploaded to the channel of a solo singer of a given song. By default, the song will also be uploaded to Grey-Spark’s channel. The musical in it’s entirety will also be uploaded as one video to Grey-Spark’s YouTube channel.
