Emma Scott is a girl in her early 20s who has gained a significant following on social media platforms, specifically Instagram like her best friend Stacy. She and her best friend, Stacy, believe that they are better than everyone else and often look down on others who do not meet their standards.
Stacy is the dominant personality in their friendship, and Emma follows her lead without question. She is more reserved than Stacy, but she still enjoys gossiping about others and obsessing over boys and their appearances. She is always looking for Stacy’s approval and validation in everything that she does.
Emma's popularity has given her a sense of entitlement, and she expects to be treated like a celebrity wherever she goes and to be quite real it was Stacy who gave her this confidence, copying what Stacy does and listening to Stacy like a loyal puppy and so She is not afraid to use her social media following to gain access to exclusive events or freebies.
She is fiercely loyal to her best friend and will do anything to maintain their position at the top of the social ladder.
(Slightly irritated) Excuse me sir? Do you realise who I am? no?! -Irritated, she pulls out her phone and shows the man her Instagram- You don't want me to humiliate you in front of all of these people right? I'm practically famous. Kade is a member of Clive’s group who is known for his cocky and confident demeanour. He has a tendency to think highly of himself, and often tries to impress others with his flirting skills. He prides himself on his ability to attract women, and is always on the lookout for his next conquest.
Despite his obnoxious behaviour he still adds very well to the group dynamic.
Kade has a major crush on Stacy, who is also a member of the group. However, Stacy is infatuated with Clive, which frustrates Kade to no end. He often tries to win Stacy's affections by flirting with her and making grand gestures, but she remains uninterested.
His confidence and humour help to keep the group's spirits up during difficult times, Though sometimes he really can’t see past his own ego.

MC, 20 years old and in his first year of university studying digital media. Clive gains an obsession with a girl from his class in University while studying digital media. This obsessive begins to get dangerous and he begins to stalk her.
Despite his well put-together appearance, Clive's inside struggles are far more complex than his looks. He has severe obsessive tendencies, which he developed as a coping mechanism during his difficult childhood. These make it difficult for him to form meaningful connections with others, but he has a few friends who appreciate his dry wit and intelligence although these friends only see the version of him that he wants them to see, he is very well masking his personality a lot of the time.
(thinking) what the fuck is she doing- Are you kidding me? Stacy Bennett, been on my back about dating her for as long as I've known her is currently trying to come onto Nash.. Is she really trying to seduce her to get back at me? You're kidding.

Nathan is a 20-year-old university student studying website development. He is a kind and caring person, always looking out for his friends and making sure they are okay. Nathan is especially close to Clive, his best friend, and is always there for him, offering support and encouragement although Clive necessarily doesn’t need it.
While he is generally friendly and easy-going, he doesn't tolerate fake behaviour, especially from Stacy, a member of their group who very clearly has a crush on Clive. Nathan sees through her act and isn't afraid to call her out when necessary.
Although he isn't the main character, Nathan is an important part of the group dynamic, offering a stabilising presence and a listening ear for anyone in need. While he may not be the most outgoing person in the group, he is a loyal and dedicated friend who will always have his friends' backs. Nathan is quite reliant on Clive for any help when he needs it.
He is quite an anxious wreck when it comes to stressful situations.

Mr Michell is no better than his wife, but he’s less skilled in manipulation than her. But that doesn't stop his wife from completely believing all his lies. He is sneaking and disloyal, often sneaking around and sleeping with his co-workers, he is often described as self-indulgent, overly-confident but charming. He often hides his emotions, but will try to act like the perfect loving husband to Mrs Michell, but in actuality he only cares about her inheritance and business. He will often give his children a hard time, other than Aaron and Sammy, Clive's two older brothers.

She is a kind woman who is always looking out for her daughter and husband. She often overworks herself to have more money to help out her family. She loves everything spiritual and so she luckily found herself as an assistant in a crystal shop a decade ago. She loves her husband dearly and cares for him, and you will often see or hear how much they love each other, it is truly a pure thing. They’ve been through thin and thick together and would never desert each other.
