[New Roles] ANCIENT DEBRIS: MINECRAFT Animated Series - PILOT EPISODE
Project Overview
Hello humans! Welcome to the 2nd Wave casting call for my indie passion project, ANCIENT DEBRIS!
Ancient Debris is an action-fantasy animated pilot for a potential series aiming to present and interpretation of Minecraft's lore! Exploring what life was like for the ancient builders, the events that shaped the Minecraft world as it is today, and, of course, the story of our iconic Minecraft characters.
Pilot Synopsis:
Ancient Debris begins with Alex, a young researcher on a journey to uncover the secrets of rock golems. After she mysteriously disappears, her brother Steve, a talented mage, delves into the secrets of these golems to find her. In doing so, he discovers a foreign magic from another dimension. Could this be a connection to Alex's disappearance? Could this be a threat to the world? Or something else entirely?
(Alex's disappearance will not be the last time we see her and we'll likely see her perspective on future episodes)
I'd also encourage doing an ABC for the lines.

A guard standing all day in the heat, finally getting some cold air after one of the Valorgem(City) Towers releases some radial ice magic to cool down the whole city's temperature.

And that should be your prize money. (scoffs) Gotta say, a semi-finalist prize for Steve Brine? Now that’s a breath of fresh air.
SETTING: CLASSROOM
Teacher holding a Lapis Lazuli, about to explain its properties until interrupted by a yapping student in the backrow seat, Teacher stops talking and throws the lapis at the yapping student's head.

Lapis... The power source of enchantments, is-
Student yapping in the backrow seat with seatmate, until teacher notices and yeets an object to this student's head.
Yap about anything, cut in the middle and do a hurt effort sound.
Example:
"(whispering) nah jit weird as hell, ima leave their ass alone, that's cra- (hurt) Ah!"
However remember you're in a fantasy setting so we'd more likely gonna choose someone who uses that element greatly.
