Narrative Video Game
Project Overview
Our video game is a sci-fi narrative exploration thriller. You play as Joshua, a neuroscientist who’s lost it all. Driven by a rare neurological affliction plaguing your family, you have to recover your memories by exploring parallel realities through déjà vu. Facing the innermost depths of your past – moments both joyous and painful – seems to be the only way to get your life and family back together. In hopes of untangling the web of memories, you’ll need to face a distressing question - can you really trust yourself?

1. VO Talent Info: Hi! We are looking for an adult male actor (aged somewhere between 40 and 55) speaking in General American accent to portray 2 characters – a university professor and a breeder of rabbits/farmer – in our upcoming video game. The sample lines provided are all the lines required for the two roles.
2. Direction for sample read: This is a double sample read: First part is a dialogue between a breeder of rabbits and our main character, and the second part is a one-liner by a university professor during the hooding ceremony. While the breeder role can be a be portrayed a bit more casually, the role of a professor should be more ceremonial, almost corporate. Within the final script you will find some directions which you can use as guidelines.
3. We are looking for a voiceover that will be used in our video game and promotional/marketing materials for the game (worldwide, and in perpetuity).

Any particular wishes for your bunny?
Oh, I see. Well, fortunately for Santa, we've got lots of bunnies. Let's see if we can find the right one.
1. VO Talent Info: Hi! We are looking for an adult female actress (aged somewhere between 25 and 45) speaking in General American accent to portray 2 characters – a 911 dispatcher and a corporate employee – in our upcoming video game. These two roles are a bit smaller, but fun to play.
2. Direction for sample read: This is a presentation of a corporate employee. We would like you to use your natural voice, and play the role as if you are standing up while giving a Power Point presentation to a group of people during a meeting. You can also record the lines for a sample read of a 911 dispatcher. Within the final script you will find some directions which you can use as guidelines.

So, as you already know, you are about to enroll in our new program, focusing on the Neurobots’ prevention of memory-impairing diseases. We will go through the entire procedure in just a minute, but I have an important note first. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
911, what is your emergency?
Sir, don’t worry, help is on the way, I've got your address. Meanwhile, stay with me on the line, okay?
1.VO Talent Info: Hi! We are looking for a child female actress (aged between 10 and 15) speaking General American accent to portray protagonist’s daughter (aged 4 and 10) in our upcoming narrative video game. The first line is when the girl is only 4 years old, sitting on a swing, asking her father to push the swing. The second and third line are from a Christmas morning when the girl gets a bunny as a gift, and shares her joy with her parents.
2. Direction for sample read: We would like the actress to use her natural voice, and play all the lines excitedly. If possible, we would ask the actress to try and mimic a 4-year old child when reading the first line. More directions for specific lines will be available within the final script.
