Ember Eclair wasn't always a monster-catching superhero. She was just an ordinary, modern-day girl who moved to a new town to get away from her boring life.
She gets a bit more excitement than she bargained for, however, when she finds herself mysteriously thrown into a world of magic and monsters after spending the night in her new home.
The people in the past mistake Ember for a legendary hero called the Myth Caller, who went missing recently. Why did Ember get sent to this monstrous world? Why does she look like the Myth Caller? It looks like Ember will have to fill the Myth Caller's shoes in order to find out!
This audition is to find voice over talent to play characters who will appear in fully animated cutscenes in the game's demo.

Ember was a normal, modern-day businesswoman before being thrown into a world of monsters and magic. She responds to most of the weirdness she sees with cute naivety.

[Ember woke up in a strange world and just learned that she's wearing the same clothes an ancient hero used to wear. She's talking to the person who found her.]
Ew, really? ...Do you think these were washed first?
(she snaps out of it)
I mean, yes, Ember Eclair is my name, but I don’t think I’m the same girl that you know. It’s just a weird coincidence that I look the same and that I’m in this... slightly sweaty set of clothes.
[Ember is being offered cookies- however, the cookies were cooked using a fire-breathing monster's flame breath. Ember asked how what she saw was even possible, but the baker started explaining the cookies, rather than the monster.]
You know I’m not talking about the cookies! ...And did you say chocolate chip?[After learning that she has the ability to summon legendary monsters, Ember comes across a statue dedicated towards one of said monsters. She attempts to summon it, but has no idea how to do it.]
All right, here goes nothing... Uh... HELLO, OH MIGHTY MYTH! I AM THE CALLER OF THE MYTHS, AND I CALL YOU.... NOW! .......I feel like an idiot.
Raine is a priestess in a religion dedicated to ancient heroes. She has a hard time opening up to people, and generally keeps to herself despite not wanting to be alone.

[sorrowful that she caused Ember so much pain]
But why? Why don't you just leave me alone.... I've already done enough to you- you're better off without me.
[Explaining the meaning behind a mural that both she and Ember are looking at]
With her power, the old myth caller gathered together each of the sacred myths and used them to summon the ultimate monster.

Yes, the old myth caller was indeed powerful... But that doesn't matter anymore now that we have you.
