Mr. Man's Makeovers
Project Overview
This project is a 2D animated student film styled like a commercial from the 90's about a disguised Mothman, going by 'Mr. Man,' running a dubious makeover studio that turns cryptids into humans so they can join society. It is a comedy film playing off the low budget, public access commercials of the time period and is set in a fictionalised location reminiscent of the U.S East Coast. An early animatic can be found attached, which was used as a proof on concept in our pitch. The final project will be a tidied up and shortened version of this idea, with the tone and general intonation being a good approximation of the film as a whole.

The cryptid Mothman in human disguise. He is a sleazy, scamming salesman who tries to rope other urban legends into his dubious makeover business. Voice will ideally have a New York or New Jersey accent, but still be able to talk quickly in a way that mimics an advertisement. Needs to be quick and convincing with comedic timing. Must be able to yell in terror.
