Military RTS Game - Any gender/accent [Student Project]
Project Overview
Hello! My name is Beth. I am currently developing a prototype for an RTS Military command game for a university module around 'Experimental Game Design'.
- The game is meant to be a surrealist approach to modern warfare games, inspired by Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty.
- I need voice actors for the soldier's communications, which you can listen into in order to learn about the threats ahead.
- It's meant to be quite a shocking/horrifying experience, so I am looking for voice actors to sound as realistic as they can.
- The game is inspired by Eighty-Six, the anime/light novel, with the player commanding a squad of soldiers to defeat an enemy.
- My project is due w/c March 1st, so I am aiming to have the voice acting complete by mid-February in order to give me enough time to polish everything else.

The Soldier Captain will talk with the player at the end of each mission. When they exit the game, the player will find they are the last remaining soldier from the squadron. The player can either choose to command him to continue fighting, or allow him to flee.
The Captain is jaded, having grown up surrounded by war and fighting. They are an expert in their field, and one that the less advanced soldiers look up to as a family member more than a Captain.
- Lead role.
- Need a mature adult voice, the accent/gender does not matter as long as the voice is clear and commanding.
- There will be quite a broad emotional range - making quips with fellow soldiers, anger at the enemy, sadness at any death of comrade's, relief, etc.
- I am aiming for realism in the voice where possible - would love if you could deliver the lines keeping the potential conditions in mind e.g. in pain/exhausted.
- As this is a game role, there will be sound effects required as well e.g. grunts/heavy breathing/miscellaneous shouting.

The game will allow you to switch into the Soldiers' communications in order to gain information about the surroundings.
- Audio quality does not matter - the comms will be intentionally edited to sound worse quality anyway.
- The accent/gender does not matter as long as it's clear what is being said.
