Project Overview
METROGENERIC is an indie animated series about TRUDY and LINETTE as they live an average slice-of-life while the dirty remnents from Trudy's intergalactic history comes to haunt her back. This is a passion project which is being worked on by me (Ennuikal) along with a couple friends. This is aimed towards a young adult demographic, akin to broadcasting seen on Adult Swim or FOX.
The video linked is from a while ago but it's similar in spirit to what this project is.
As for voice acting, WAVs only, no post-processing, at least 3 takes in ABC format, XLR mics preferred but not required!

MAIN LEAD

Gertrude is a peppy and energetic woman in her early 20s who lives a humble life. She's airheaded, optimistic, and does her best to life a modest life. Her tone is squeaky and high pitched, with a nasaly tone. Overall very feminine voice.
Trudy is a doppleganger who has taken the identity of Gertrude, and has a much more monotone and more angsty personality. Generally much more cynical, but still hardworking/ determined. Trudy's voice still has that slightly nasaly quality to it, but much less pronounced and is an octave or so lower, and more tomboyish. Something vaguely akin to Erica Mendez as Ryuko from Kill La Kill.

Linette is a lazy person in her mid forties. She's very laid back and has a sarcastic personality. Her tone of voice is husky and slightly soft spoken, but still has prescence. She should sound not too feminine and lean more towards a masculine and deep voice.
If you want further reference I see her sounding similar to Susan Igan as Lin from Spirited Away.

(non-chalant, monotone) I'm busy gaming right now. You're gonna have to be on hold for a sec, pal.
SUPPORTING ACTOR
An ominous alien investigator from outer space. He's very serious-no jokes type to a fault, and has a sort of robotic/ monotone voice. He has an awkward inflection to his speech, similar to gman from the Half-Life series.

MINOR ROLE
An evil henchman similar to those out of a saturday morning cartoon. Is a bit incompetent, but is serious about their job.

Jisoo is an anti-social girl whose own self-doubt and anxiety prevents her from forming long-lasting friendships. She is slightly airheaded due to not being able to get rest as her apartment is occupied by spirits whom annoy/ bully her constantly.
Otherwise, she is a huge nerd who can be a bit judgemental of others but keeps it to herself, keeping a shy and meek exterior.
Being Korean, she has a slight accent as well as speaking it occasionally. Her voice has a soft-spoken quality to it as well as stuttering quite often. That being said, she does have moments of outbursts whenever she's particularly startled/mad/happy etc,
