Meggy Spletzer VA needed! | Welcome to Mario Kart (Plush Video)

Note: With the exception of the short synopsis of "Welcome to Mario Kart!", please read everything in this tab and in Meggy's about section thoroughly to understand what you are auditioning for.

Hello. I'm LordKraken3, a YouTuber who specializes in animation and plush/ figure videos; I've created series such as Panty & Stocking Plush, Robot Flain (and its spinoff Robot Flain Gaiden), and Plants vs. Zombies: The Series. The subject of this casting call concerns a character in a plush video I'm making titled Welcome to Mario Kart!, Meggy Spletzer. Filming on this video wrapped yesterday (October 11th), so now I'm taking the next step in this video's production by searching for a VA for Meggy, as she is currently the only character in the video who does not have one. Only once I get a VA for Meggy will this video be able to begin post-production.

What is "Welcome to Mario Kart!"?

A plush video and my first attempt at a kart racing video since 2014, wherein Mario and his friends (frenemy in Wario's case) engage in a good old-fashioned, televised Mario Kart race! But when Inklings prove to be unavailable, the eighth racer to hit the track is none other than Meggy Spletzer, a self-proclaimed big shot with a bigger ego. How will the others fare against this new challenger?

Guidelines/Expectations:

• My videos are all non-profit, so I apologize, but this is not paid.
• I want to hire a committed VA who can deliver lines quickly and on time; something like 2-3 weeks after getting the script.
• Your microphone quality will play a large part in how likely it is you get cast, since I want a VA who provides a clear speaking voice with no echo or background noise.
• Please listen to the provided voice reference for Meggy so you know what type of voice to aim for before auditioning.
• Discord is required. Scripts and lines will be sent through there, as that's where I prefer to send and receive things related to videos. Also, it gives me an easy way to reach whoever is cast as Meggy if I ever need them to voice her again, should Meggy make more appearances beyond this video. So be sure to provide your Discord tag in your audition, or at the very least, after you are chosen.
• Be polite and show respect and support for me and other auditioners. Basically, don't be a d*ck to anyone involving themselves with this.
• At the longest, this project will be open for exactly five (5) weeks, meaning auditions will close on November 15th, 2022 at 11:59PM (EST). Once that date arrives, my casting decision will be made the following day (November 16th)- an understudy may also be appointed just in case the one I selected needs to drop out. However, this casting call may also end sooner than that if I get a good enough audition, seeing as how this involves just one character. In which case, they will immediately be cast as Meggy, with an understudy also being hired if possible.
