Love Live: Quest! An RPG Cover Project
Project Overview
Do you love both idols and rpgs? Love Live: Quest is a project that will not only create English covers of songs from the Love Live franchise, but add a story element as well.

Priority will be given to those who can wear multiple hats (sing & mix, sing & write stories, etc)
This project is open to all voice types and genders. Please audition in your natural voice. You do not need to sound like the original girls.
For this audition, in addition to filling out the Google Form:
- Singers: Please sing the lyrics provided. This is a timing guide to the song. All auditions are to be acapella
- Narrator: Please narrate the beginning of the story. You may change it however you see fit. I understand my writing may not be the best as far as being spoken.
- Staff: If you are interested in just being staff, please fill out the Google Form as such
The story so far:
In the land of Linea, rumors had it that access to a magical plane had appeared. The entrance was called the Love Live. Not much was known about this entrance, for the only information known was that the entrance disappeared and reappeared in different parts of the world, and only a group of 9 could enter though. The magical plane was thought to be a place where dreams came true, so many groups formed to traverse the land. They all wanted the same thing: to make their dreams come true.

I wanted to thank everyone who not only auditioned, but offered a helping hand for this project. It's going to be a big project with many parts. So far, it looks like we can do a lot in house, but everyone who has offered a helping hand has been noted down and will be remembered if we need it. I know I messaged a few people about possibly voicing "NPCs." When that phase of the project is ready to happen, you will be contacted. For now, we'll be focusing on getting this project off the ground with our first cover! There's no estimate as to how long that will take just yet. Look forward to the update where our social media links will be announced. Thank you again for everyone who auditioned for this project. About the final 2 roles
The last 2 roles will close on the 15th as planned. With these being the last two roles, we're really letting the last of the auditions come in. Everyone who has been cast so far is also eagerly waiting, and we can wait to see who will join us in the end. Good luck everyone, and look forward to the 15th. From there, the quest will begin! -
Voice Acting
At this point, everyone who has been cast has been up to voice acting (reality: reading the lines of their characters. acting skill required: none). If you are auditioning, while voice acting will not be required, it would be greatly appreciated. There will now be a place to mark in the Google Form if you are ok with voice acting. -
Roles Closing | Warrior & Bard
Now that roles are being closed, I'm putting it out there that I intend to self cast as either Warrior or Bard. If you are auditioning for either of those roles, it would be helpful if you have a backup role in mind, too. You would not need to submit your audition twice. Just make sure you mark the role in the Google Form.

As of this moment, the narrator plays a pretty big role in the story. They will be the main storyteller. If vocalists cast are willing to voice act, there will be less for the narrator to do. The narrator must be as committed to this project as the vocalists.
I am willing to consider two narrators. If I go that route, it would probably be one female narrator and one male narrator.
Please narrate the script below. You may change it up as you wish, because I know my writing can be weird. Just make sure you tell the beginning of the story!
The land of Linea. The entrance to the plane of dreams appeared. Not much is known about this entrance other than it disappears and reappears, and only a group of 9 can enter through. Our story begins with a group gathered at the Hoshi fountain. Though strangers, they all have one goal: to make their dreams come true.

Warriors specialize in swords and shields. This doesn't always mean they have both, though, for greatswords do exist. As per video game stereotypes, the warrior tends to take on a leadership role. While you don't need to sound like Honoka, please keep in mind that she is the center in a lot of songs. A strong vocalist with confidence in their ability would be recommended.

A monk is very agile. They also like hitting things with their hands and feet. This is the martial artist in their group. Their personality can be anything, but at the end of the day, they have self control and dedication. While you do not need to sound like Kotori or Chika, please keep in mind that Chika is the center in a lot of songs. A strong vocalist with confidence in their abilities would be preferred.

Few can understand the concentration, strength, and grace it takes to wield a bow. While they do not need to be unrealistically talented with the bow (looking at you, Merida), they can hit their mark. Personalities may vary, but at the end of the day, their loyalty to the way of the bow shines through. You do not need to sound like Umi or Hanamaru, but remember the archer tends to stay in the back lines providing support. Vocalists with a nice blending voice would be nice. Bonus points if you are good with harmonies.

The rouge can take on many roles. They can be the master of disguises. They can be the ninja of the night. They can be the gatherer of information. Rogues are skilled, although they might not be the most well known person in the world. Their weapon choice isn't limited by their class, but daggers, short swords, and other mobile weapons are thought to be weapons of choice. Another good term to describe a rogue is the jack of all trades in the fantasy world. You do not need to sound like Rin on Kanan, and you have the chance to really be something unique as a rogue.

Healers are one of the staples of a group. They keep the party alive and well. While they do not attack, there are multiple ways healers can obtain their healing power. They can gather it from a divine entity, or they can channel it from nature. Healers can use a staff, a wand, a book, or even just their own hands if they are skilled enough. You do not need to sound like Hanayo or Ruby, and remember, you are as important as any other role. You would earn brownie points as well if you can help out in other ways as well~ Just mark it in the form

Summoners are unique in that they are able to make others do their bidding. Whether it is a single familiar or an army of skeletons, summoners change the situations. If you are a summoner, I must ask, how did you get your ability to summon? Did you make a dark contract? Did you rescue a spirit and it follows you in gratitude? You do not have to answer this in the form, but keep that in mind, for it will be intergral to your character. Summoners in this project have the opportunity to add much to the story.

With great power comes great responsibility. That phrase rings true with mages. With the ability to cast magic, mages can make what seem like miracles happen. In truth, mages use "mana." "Mana" is the energy that exist all around. Unlike healers whose magical abilities are limited to healing, mages can use magic to control the elements: earth, wind, fire, and water. Their magic is not limted to the four elements, though. With proper training, a capable mage can do anything. While you do not have to sound like Eli or Dia, keep in mind that mages can have any personality, but at the end of the day, they are responsible people.

Alchemist (Nozomi/Mari)

Alchemists are known to be eccentric. Whether it's their personality that brought them to potion-making, or an experiment to two that went wrong to leave them this way, one can usually tell when someone is an alchemist. Eccentric doesn't always means overly cheerful, though. Another way to describe alchemists would be "off." Their motives are not known, but they are undoubetly working on their next potion. They know their way around herbs and various liquids and how to combine them to make the potions do what the alchemist wants. These skills can be used both offensively and defensively. You can poison and enemy or heal a sick teammate. Alchemists are very versitile.
