Louie & Friends
Project Overview
Louie & Friends is a series starring various of my original characters! The series is a slice of life cartoon inspired by various kids shows I enjoy.
Louie & Friends stars various animal characters who all live their own lives in large cities or small towns, but are all good friends. Each story follows various scenarios with my characters, be it a job swap between two best friends, a mystery having to be solved, or a simple day out. Wholesome is often this show's middle name, and if someone's down in the dumps, or just needs a little boost of courage, everyone is willing to help each other out when needs be.
This project is a work in progress, and some elements might be tweaked over time.

Pop-star pup-star Mika is the world's premiere teen idol. Despite being horribly manipulated by her parents, Mika loves to sing and perform, and has a high-pitched voice full of energy and a very good singing voice.

Detective Dani is a friendly young duck who loves old timey detective films and novels, as well as strawberry milkshakes. She works for a detective agency and often gets called on to solve the town's mysteries. She can get annoyed a bit easily, but will always solve a case with a smile.

Emmie is a tuba playing elephant who has a big heart, and wants to be a friend to all. She's pretty soft-spoken, and is a little shy.

Kimmie the red fox is a very energetic DJ. She's bouncy, jumpy and very excitable. She communicates mostly using 90's slang terms.

Kimmie is a quite literally chilled out arctic fox, and the complete opposite of Kelsie. She's relaxed and chilled out, and she plays the double bass in a jazz band.

Uh, no thanks Kelsie. I'll just stick to the quieter twangs of my double bass, rather than dropping the bass, thank you very much.
Mouse mechanic Tiffany is small but capable of fixing up all sorts of things. She specializes in vehicles. Her brain occasionally gets frazzled from time to time.

Noah is a very sporty fruit bat and is a basketball player. He's a bit cocky but he means well. He's pretty strong for a bat of his size, but he trips up quite a lot.

A fancy young hippo who's the lead singer of The Howling Harmonizers. She adores jewellery and wears a lot of it. Her voice is fairly posh for her age.

A calm wolf who plays trumpet for The Howling Harmonizers. He's cool as a cucumber and very relaxed, and he's best friends with Kimmie. He's also good friends with Emmie, as they both play in the same orchestra. He's not fond of shouting or loud sounds.

A energetic, wild Burmese cat with a passion for drumming. An odd member of the Howling Harmonizers, as she has more of a rock-n-roll tone to both her voice and her drumming skills.

I'd want the show's music to be mostly relaxed, usually quick cues for transitions between scenes, and I'd love each character to have their own theme music. I'd also need someone to help out writing songs too.

Kelly is a koala that loves to cook. She works at her self-titled bakery, Kelly's Korner, and makes a lot of the sandwiches and sweet treats on offer. She also has every regular customer’s typical orders memorised, often making for very quick service.
