Lego Jessica Jones (Short Stop-Motion Film)
Project Overview
Hello! My name is Josh and I run AFewGoodFilms, a stop-motion channel on Youtube. I've recently written a script for a short film based off of Marvel's Jessica Jones and am looking to cast the title character.
Synopsis: Jessica is going about her day to day life as a private investigator. A simple case brings more questions rather than answers as a new player (The Punisher) shows up in Hell's Kitchen. (The script is about 1 1/2 - 2 pages long.)
This short is part of a shared universe between many animators known as the Marvel Brickfilm Universe (MBU) and so I would ask that if you audition for this role, you would be open to the possibility of reprising the role of Jessica Jones in subsequent films made by either myself or other animators, and be comfortable with the other animators contacting you in the future if needed.
Stop-motion is a long and tedious process and we are, of course, all human. That means there's a possibility that another film with Jessica Jones could pop up shortly after this one, never again, or somewhere in between. Just as I can't promise another film being made to reprise the role, I also understand that your availability can change in that time and you won't be able to reprise the role. If ever you decide you can no longer reprise the role, simply send me an email so I can update the others. No harm, no foul.

This version of the character is heavily inspired by the Netflix Jessica Jones series.
There’s a lot of things to hate about living in the city. The traffic, the smell, the noise. But most of all… the people. Every time you step outside you're immediately choked out by a sea of assholes.
