Project Overview
Hello!
In the mysterious future, crystalline organisms called Gems inhabit a world that has been destroyed by six meteors. Each Gem is assigned a role in order to fight against the Lunarians, a species who attacks them in order to shatter their bodies and use them as decorations.
Phosphophyllite, also known as Phos, is a young and fragile Gem who dreams of helping their friends in the war effort. Instead, they are told to compile an encyclopedia because of their delicate condition. After begrudgingly embarking on this task, Phos meets Cinnabar, an intelligent gem who has been relegated to patrolling the isolated island at night because of the corrosive poison their body creates. After seeing how unhappy Cinnabar is, Phos decides to find a role that both of the rejected Gems can enjoy. Houseki no Kuni follows Phos' efforts to be useful and protect their fellow Gems.

Hello! This project was originally meant to be an abridged, But instead of that, we decided we will be doing voice-overs of comic's, Possibly doing scene's from the show, and manga! We may do an abridged series later on in the future, if we decide on it.
We need many people for this project, and appreciate whoever will join!
Rules
Decent Microphone for Recording, No background noise (Please edit it out yourself if there is any. I won't accept people who have extremely loud background noise.)
Be able to record lines within 3-4 days of recieving (I can give 1-2 day extensions but if you cannot record your lines then I'll have someone else do them.)
A discord Account is Required, We also would like if you can have a Twitter or main Social media account. (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, ETC.)
Please be mature, I don't mind how old you are, Heck, I don't care if your 12. I just want people who will be mature, and not act like idiots while we are talking about the project, Joking around here and there is alright, though.
You must be fine with voicing another character, because I doubt that we will get over 10+ voice actors. But it is possible. If you are not fine with this, please tell me in advance.

Phosphophyllite

Phosphophyllite is the main protagonist and the youngest Gem when the story began. They're weak, brittle - not suited for battle - and their clumsiness makes them difficult to maintain any other roles. Phos has always wanted to be useful.
Phos' initial job was to make a natural history encyclopedia which they progressed very little on. They promised to help Cinnabar find a job suited for them as well.
Phos so far is the only Gem who has had drastic body and personality changes.
In a bit of a stuck up voice.
"Oh yeah? Who's gonna make me?"Carefree voice, as if nothing bad is about to happen.
"Oooo~! Let me just touch this. I wonder what it is?"Mature, Calm voice.
"Well, At least I know the difference between Right and Left now."

Cinnabar is the only Gem who goes on night patrol. Due to their body producing poison which is harmful for Gems and living things, they are isolated and ashamed of themselves. They hate fighting and hate to be seen.
According to Rutile, Cinnabar has an extraordinary amount of talent and combat ability, but is too much to handle due to their uncontrollable poison that ruins everything it touches. Cinnabar's silver poison gathers faint light at night, which keeps them awake and aware while night patrolling. According to Kongo-sensei, the night patrol is something Cinnabar came up with by themselves.
Calm, until the end, they get a slight growl in their voice.
"I'll go to the moon one day.. You'll see! YOU'LL ALL SEE!"
"Please, Don't come near me! I don't want to hurt anyone else.."

Kongo is the head of the Gems, acting as the teacher, protector, and father figure. He teaches the Gems about the current world and its history, and decides the role suited for each of them. He has overwhelming offensive power and can disperse the Moon People in one blow. He becomes incredibly intimidating when angered.

They're the second place when it comes to being hard to break.

Antarcticite, also called Antarc, is one of the Gems who mainly does patrol duty and some other work specifically in the winter. Due to their gem's characteristic, during most of the year they 'sleep' in liquid form when temperatures are warm. They re-crystallize when the temperature drops during the winter. The colder the temperature, the harder they become.
"We low-hardness Gems have nothing if not our courage."

Padparadscha is one of the Gems who was mainly on patrol duty, but is currently inactive. They were born with an incomplete torso, which leaves them unconscious most of the time. They are the partner of Rutile, who works continuously to devise replacements for their missing parts in order to cure them of their unstable condition. Rutile has not yet achieved this and has only managed to keep them awake and active for short amounts of time.

Rutile (ルチル, Ruchiru) is one of the Gems, and mainly works as a doctor. They repair the cracked or broken Gems, and also handle the management of herbs, pastes, powders, and other medical remedies. The other Gems have commented on their "nice long legs", saying that they give them the appearance of a model.
They are always found at work or sleeping on one side of the hall, surrounded by cupboards, boxes, and herbs. They are the partner of the unstable Padparadscha, whose body they are trying to maintain

Cairngorm/Ghost Quart'z

Cairngorm (カンゴーム, lit Kangōmu) is a Gem who appears midway in the story. They used to be the inner shell of Ghost Quartz, who has a multilayered structure and thus two personalities. After Ghost Quartz was taken to the moon, they became active in their stead.
Ghost Quartz is one of the Gems, they work as a librarian and take part in patrol duty. They are also in charge of the long-term recovery facilities located on the fourth floor.
Author note: I'd like an VA who an do both Cairngorm's serious and mature voice, and Ghost quart''s light, fluffy voice. If your not able to do both, but want to audition for just one, then i've left some lines for you! :) So if you want to just do ghost, then you can.

Lapis Lazuli (ラピスラズリ, Rapisu Razuri) is one of the Gems. They were the head of the Library; a position now taken up by their former partner Ghost Quartz after Lapis was taken by the Moon People. Upon being taken, only their head was able to be retrieved. This head would later on be used by Phosphophyllite.
