Project Overview
Hey there! Thanks for being interested in my fandub project! Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama is one of my favorite anime. After I watched the subbed version, I checked out the English dub and to my disappointment, it didn't live up to my expectations. As a voice actor and a fan of this show, I feel it is my duty to help this anime reach its full potential! In order to do so, I'm looking for some talented actors to help me out! I don't have the patience to dub the ENTIRE series, but I would like to dub a few of my favorite clips! I'll ask my YouTube subscribers which other scenes they would like to see as well! So, THIS SHOULD BE FUN! I'm looking forward to hearing your submissions! Thanks again and have fun auditioning!
I'm looking for:
-Someone who is familiar with the show/ characters
- Intermediate/advanced acting skills (I want this dub to sound as professional as possible, with actors who are able to really get into character.)
-Good Mic Quality (no background noise with a clear sound)
-Decent Lip-syncing abilities (I will edit when necessary, but try not to stray too far from the lip flaps)
-Commitment
- Discord! (I'm still new to using it, but it's easier to communicate with, right?)

Hey all! First off, tremendous thank you to all of you who took the time to audition for this project! It really means a lot to me and I've heard so many wonderful voices GAAAAHH! It's going to be so hard to choose only 4 people! But before I cast anyone, I'd like to give a little more time to hear from as many people as I can before making my final decision. Usui is protective, stalkerish, slightly perverted, doesn't show much emotion, only cares about Misaki and what's best for her, quiet, mysterious, attractive, non-egotistical, good at everything, smart, cool.
His voice is slightly monotone and low for a teenage boy.

"Usui, a silent but dangerous person, so mysterious yet only opened himself to Misaki. He is a very smart student, as well as being good at everything, and although very popular, he doesn't let it go to his head. Most of the time, he has a nonchalant and apathetic attitude but is always on the look-out for anything that may threaten or hurt Misaki, and he often saves her when she gets in trouble. He's 1st Rank beating Misaki to second place (much to Misaki's initial annoyance).
He doesn't think twice about rejecting a girl's confession, something he seems to experience often, and Misaki is also unhappy about this as she views it as him "harassing" girls. He can also survive even after jumping from the school roof without protective gear, just to save the photo that contains the secret of Misaki being a maid. He excels in playing chess, the violin, cooking, formal table etiquettes as well as most sports, much to many people's surprise.
Like most guys, he is awkward and not very good when it comes to expressing his feelings, so generally reverts to making perverted comments and references. The only times he expresses himself clearly are on several occasions when he confesses openly: "I love you, Ayuzawa" or when he expresses himself through actions such as kisses or tight hugs, which Misaki initially passes off as displays of bold sexual harassment.
It seems that Misaki is the first person that he developed feelings for. He often flirts and teases her(much to her annoyance). He usually stays around Misaki. " I'm a high-level otaku who loves maids more than anything. All of my favorite books have to do with maids, and all the cafes I visit have maids. Of course, I collect figures as well. I play maid games, get excited, say stuff like "moe moe" and even crossdress as a maid myself... Later. "

Tora Igarashi is the student council president of Miyabigaoka Academy, a prestigious high school and Seika highschool's rivals. He appears respectful and mannerly, but beneath he is perverted and cruel. He tries persuading Misaki to become a student council member at Miyabigayoka by giving her gifts, and discounted tuition and money, but really he's only interested in Misaki because he thinks she's hot and her double life excites him.
Rich kid, player, sly, takes what he wants, two-faced, selfish.

To be honest, I’m rather disappointed you of all people fell for my act so easily. I thought you had more substance to you, guess I was wrong. You’re a babe, a student council president, and a maid all rolled into one. I’m excited to see how you’ll fit in here, Miss President.

Kanou has an odd hobby/habit of hypnotizing people. He dislikes women and despises Misaki. He wants her to look bad and lose her position as Seika Highschool's president, so he hypnotizes her to act like a complete drunk. He continues to use hypnosis as his weapon but eventually loses the game and becomes a likable character.
He's quiet, mysterious, tricky, always wears a hood, and has a distaste towards women but eventually comes around.
<You grab Usui by the tie; forcing him to look into your eyes. You're hypnotizing him.>
"Look deep into my eyes. Usui Takumi, from now on you will hate Misaki Ayuzawa." (snaps fingers) <smirks> "hm"
<soft spoken/ controlling>
Listen closely. You are the heart of the Student Council. When you wake up, you will make a complete fool out of yourself in front of everyone, to the point where you will never regain your position as student council president. (More to himself) We don't need any more girls at Seika.
