Hello all! I, like many others, dearly wish for the light novel: Purple Haze Feedback to see the light of day and get an anime adaptation. However, the likelihood of it happening are admittedly slim. Instead, I want to do the next best thing and create an audiobook/audio drama with it! This castingcall will be for the prologue and first chapter. Can't wait to hear what you can do!
If you choose to audition please PLEASE have a decent mic and try your best to limit or remove any background noise. I can only edit the audio so much before it loses its integrity so Please help me out on that front!
Shelia E doesn't have much in the first chapter, but is a main character and speaks much more often in the future chapters, so bear with me if you get cast haha.
Sheila E is introduced as a frank teenage girl. She doesn't chew her words and harshly criticizes Fugo for abandoning his team. Despite her indiscipline, it seems she fulfilled her role well as liaison between Passione and Squadra Esecuzioni. Sheila E prefers to take the most direct solution to any problem, typically destroying anything inconvenient.
*mockingly* "You can't even keep your own thing quiet? Do you have no self control at all?
*curious* "I hear your stand will kill you if you get infected. How'd you figure that out?"
Mista only appears in the first chapter but does speak quite a bit in it. Most of you probably know Mista from Golden Wind, but this story takes place 6 months after the events of the manga.
"Fugo. Show us your stand. Show us Purple Haze"

I really want this guy to sound unhinged; almost on the verge of a psychotic break
Vittorio is a psychotic masochist, obsessed with pain. He has a habit of cutting himself with his dagger, expressing pleasure with a loud "Gigigigigi!" while doing so. This masochism is tied to his belief that pain calls the life force inside him. In a related way, Vittorio thinks that civilized life is lacking and that it is a veneer for the emptiness of life, hence his love of pain
"Gigigigigigigigigi!" (kind of like a psychotic laugh)
"Modern man... Is incomplete. All kinds of shit is just... not enough. I don't mean like, nutrition or exercise or... I mean in comparison to primitive man, there's something in their lives, their daily lives, that just isn't there!"

Sale meets his demise in the first chapter. He is one of the first villains of Part 5, and is back for one last hoorah.
Sale really only has like, 4 lines and some sound effects, so don't be afraid to audition for someone else too!

Angelica doesn't speak much in chapter one, but speaks more in the later chapters, so bare with me on this one.
Angelica is an extremely sickly, pale, frail-looking girl, with faintly red lips. Her build is so frail that her neck trembles and seems like it could snap under the weight of her own head. In spite of her serious illness, Angelica has a rather chipper, bubbly personality. Being young, she acts absent-minded and spacey

Massimo Volpe is the big bad of the story.
As the lead developer of Passione's Narcotics Division, Massimo was primarily responsible for creating the drugs the Boss would sell to addicts and children. Since he was born, Massimo lives an extremely apathetic, uninspired life, often not making a big deal out of anything simply because he does not feel deeply about anything, lacking any passion. This leaves him rather close-minded and lackadaisical, but develops considerably violent mannerisms after joining Passione's Narcotics Team
"Even deflated, his heart is still beating. Even now my Manic Depression's made it impossible for him to control himself."

Kocaqi is another one of the big bads in the story. For his voice, I'd like something raspy and old sounding, but not like a cartoonish old man.
Kocaqi is the leader of Passione's former narcotics division. He is a quiet elderly man who took part in gang activity prior to joining Passione. Despite his profession, Vladimir Kocaqi is a gentle and wise old man, who cares for his team.
"God damn it, Massimo. I told you not to fight unless you have to. Vittorio and I can handle mooks like this. You and Angelica should let us protect you"
"You hear me, Massimo? You're the heart of this team. We only exist for you."
*sighing* "I know you don't see it. You could rule the world, you know. With a stand like yours, you could place yourself above other men."
