Project Overview
PROJECT SUMMARY:
This will be a manga dub of the new official spin-off of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak. This project will feature full voice-acting, sound effects and music from the anime, including new ones as well! I am looking for voices that fit these characters like gloves, you can audition will impressions sure, but I am looking for that original take. Please try and give your version of these characters, I want them to be unique and not just a simple impression.

Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak:
Following the aftermath of Stardust Crusaders, it's 1999 and Hol Horse is on a journey to search for a missing parrot at the request of an old mourning mother. He travels from Cairo to Morioh and soon realizes this may be more than just a simple search for a missing pet.
This project will have a quick deadline. This is because I want to get this out quickly over the holiday break. Please share this around with everyone you know who would even be remotely interested, I want everyone to have their chance at a role in this time-span.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a Discord account, A server will be made to allow for better communication between director and actor.
- XLR microphones, no USBs. (Unless you have a well treated recording space)
- Be able to record with live-direction.
- Be able to yell (It's Jojo's, what'd you expect?)

In the 11 years since Stardust Crusaders, Hol Horse has not changed much. He still helps the ladies, always the "gentlemen". He still is quite the coward. However, he has also matured since he served Dio in his quest to kill the Joestars. This is a man who has experience true fear and never wants to again, he hide behind that cool-headed facade.
His voice should be mid-low pitch.
{Chp.1, Pg. 6} [Speaking to the old woman whose asked him to search for her son's missing parrot] (Confident)
"Well, if a pretty woman's lookin' at me like that, young or old... I just can't say no! That's ol' Hol Horse's way!"{Chp. 1, Pg. 26} [Trying to help Mariah get past the trauma Dio has left her] (Quiet and kind in tone, like he's delivering some wise message)
"Those people who fall for a conman's tricks may be fools, but... At the end of the day, they're victims all the same. It's not worth beating yourself up over, Mariah."{Chp. 1, Pg. 54} [Hol Horse hears Dio in his head, he panics as a car barrels towards him and runs over nearby pedestrians] (Fearful, panicking)
"I deliberately calmy followed Dio until the very end... and I have in to fear! That's where I lost to him in spirt! Even now, in the depths of my soul... I still fear Dio!"
Mariah has settled down after leaving Dio's command. She hasn't fully recovered though, she still feels his presence even after his death. She tries to live on and move past it all, but remains haunted by him.
Her voice should be medium pitch.
{Chp.1, Pg. 22} [Mariah talks with Hol Horse] (Casual, asking for a favor almost)
"Some visitors of mine want to see you. You know, "The Brothers". They've been freeloading here for a month. I think they've overstayed their welcome. Could you take them with you? Only if you can, of course..."[Chp. 1, Pg. 24} [Mariah confides in Hol Horse about her nightmares about Dio] (Quiet, sad, afraid]
"Sometimes, I dream about how it was back then... and I wake up in a cold sweat. Dio. Because he's always in those dreams. "What are you crying about, Mariah? Go and defeath the Joestars." He gives me those orders, and I can't bring myself to say anything but "I'm Sorry" over and over. I just keep groveling to him like those are the only two words I know."{Chp. 1, Pg. 35} [Mariah lets Hol Horse free from her stand ability] (Poking fun, like she played a good prank)
"Ha ha ha, I thought I'd give you a good beating for taking advantage of Boingo back then.."
Boingo has been with Mariah since they no longer serve Dio, he has had a tiny grudge for Hol Horse since he got him in trouble with the Crusaders. He's still a trouble maker but a little more matured in the 11 years since.
His voice should be high-mid pitch.
{Chp. 1, Pg. 33} [After Hol Horse gets trapped in a bathroom, Boingo looks in through the broken door.]
"My thoth's predictions are absolute... Even if I don't want them to happen, it's predictions can't be changed once they appear. Like the one where it predicted that I'd join you in this 'parrot hunt'..."{Chp. 1, Pg. 36} [Narration of Boingo's book prediction] (Childlike, a bit silly)
"I'm Boingo! Right now, I'm really on edge! It's 'cuz someone lost their parrot or something, so.. I have to team up with that loser Hol Horse again! And not only that... we have to go to some town I've never heard of, with a really weird name!"{Chp. 1, Pg. 34} [Hol Horse is telling him off for getting him involved with his stand] (Panicked, demanding)
"Forget everything you know about me and Thoth!"
The cousin of Noriaki Kayoin. She is in university and came to Morioh to visit his grave. She is quickly dragged into this story with Hol Horse as she was also visited by Dio. Like Hol Horse, she fears him greatly and tries to steer clear from anything that involves him.
Feel free to improve lines for her, sadly she doesn't have a lot of lines for the first chapter.
Her voice should be medium pitch.
{Chp. 1, Pg. 40 & 42 [At Noriaki's gravestone, paying her respects] (Sad, mournful)
"I can't believe it's been 10 years since you left us... I got into university. What happened to you? Why did you disappear from our lives?"{Chp. 1, Pg. 43} [Speaking to a family member over the phone] (Casual)
"I plan to be hear for a few more days, since I probably won't be able to visit as often once classes start... I know I know. I'll tell Auntie. Okay. Bye."{Chp. 1, Pg. 44} [She finds Oingo Boingo's book lying on the sidewalk in Morioh] (Confused)
"Oingo? Boingo? Is this a manga?"
This is before Josuke Higashikata meets his nephew Jotaro and fights for the safety of his town. He has not named his stand either, still unaware of its full nature. He is similar to the Josuke we know, but has the younger hot-headed air to him that he wouldn't shake until later. He has a sense of right and wrong but still lacks the motivation to fully put it to good use.
His voice should be medium pitch.
Improve some DORAs and stand rushes in the end of your audition.
{Chp. 1, Pg. 60} [Just saved Hol Horse from being flattened by a crazed driver, but weary of him] (Curious but cautious)
"That's a gun you've got there, yeah? It showed up in your hand outta thin air... Could that mean, you have the same thing I do?"{Chp. 1, Pg. 61} [Feeling threatened by Hol Horse, Josuke challenges him] (Angry, demanding)
"I'm gonna have you tell me... Just who the hell you are!"*Improve some lines you think would fit as Josuke has very few lines in this first chapter. I want to hear Josuke when you audition, make me believe these lines.*
Dio has been long dead for 11 years, but his haunting memory lives on. He still terrorizes those who served him, instilling them with fear and doubt.
His voice should be mid-low pitch.
{Chp.1, Pg. 41} [A flashback to when Dio tries to seduce and place Ryoko under his brainwashing, making her like Kakyoin.] (Seductive)
"I won't hurt you, so why not show your face to me? No need to frighten yourself to the point of nausea. Listen to me, Ryoko..."{Chp. 1, Pg. 52 & 53} [Hol Horse hears Dio in his head, Dio appears as he did when Hol Horse tried to shoot him] (Calm, Slightly impressed)
"I like you... The moment you tried to kill me. You were so calm that you weren't sweating, and your breathing was even... Just what I expected of Hol Horse."{Chp. 1, Pg. 50 & 51} [Dio is telling a man to drive on the sidewalk, run over the pedestrians, kill Hol Horse] (Quiet, Demanding)
"The sidewalk is wide enough. It doesn't matter. Go. Now."
The mother of the man who owned Pet Shop, also owned a parrot, who has gone missing. She pleads with Hol Horse to search for her son's bird.
Her voice should be medium-low pitch.
{Chp. 1, Pg. 4} [Telling Hol Horse what has happened] (A bit panicked, mournful)
"My parrot has gone missing. I know I locked their cage, but... It just vanished, and the cage is still there locked shut. Their trainer, my son, loved those birds as though they were his own children... After he was killed trying to escape from Dio, "His Baby" became my own."{Chp. 1, Pg. 5} [She tries to convince Hol Horse] (Worried)
"You used to work with my son, didn't you?! Please, help my find that parrot!"{Chp. 1, Pg. 5} [Hol Horse denies to help her] (Pleading)
"If the foundation deems it dangerous, they would kill it for sure! I beg of you!
