Inverted Fate: Full Comic Dub
Project Overview
Inverted Fate is an Undertale AU/sequel that takes place when Asriel successfully resets the timeline. Only when he wakes up again as a flower, much has changed. The timeline has been completely rewritten. Frisk, unaware of what has happened, falls down Mt. Ebott again. Flowey has a plan on how to get the souls, though. He just needs help from the kid.
This project is a full dub of the comic. When you audition, all we ask is that you can act and that you have a decent mic. Feel free to audition for multiple roles.
Note: The role of Papyrus has already been cast to a voice actor offsite.

Our hero. Frisk is a kid who exudes confidence and sass. But is it genuine, or is it just an act? This Frisk is a little older than most Frisks. They're 12 in the Inverted Fate canon. As the main character, they speak extensively in each part.
The voice we're looking for is a bit different from the traditional cinnamon roll Frisk. We're looking for a snarky preteen type voice that runs the full gamut of emotions, from laid back and sassy to goofy to melancholy and bitter.
I can't believe that worked. I really saved him... And all I had to do was RESET. Heh! Guess that makes me a superhero. But something still doesn't add up. So if there's anyone there, could you stop being so cryptic?
I love getting lost in your eyes. They suck me in, like a black hole... Because that's basically what they are.

Chara, or "Captain Cryptic," follows Frisk through their adventure and is their narrator. As such, they appear in every part. They are a snarky, pretentious preteen with a load of emotional baggage, and their voice should reflect that.

It looks like a calculator with giant shades. What has science done?! He's pretty dashing for a box, though.

Flowey travels with Frisk throughout their adventure, keeping a friendly facade. But his ultimate goal is to get those human SOULs. Flowey has a higher voice. He can go from friendly and cheerful to wicked and scary in seconds.
Way to go, buddy! I'm impressed. Now it's like that whole mess NEVER happened...
...No. It won't be worth it until I get those souls. Then everything will be right.

Asgore is the caretaker of the Ruins. We're looking for a deeper voice. Jolly and friendly by default, but capable of more subdued, sorrowful and regretful performances. Asgore appears throughout the Ruins arc and near the end of the comic, but there are phone calls between him and Frisk during Snowdin, too.
I don't wish to scare you, but some
monsters are rather wary of humans. In such cases, they may attack, and
you must learn how to fend for yourself. Fortunately, this training
dummy...Human, are you sure...? W-well, if it will make you happy, how can I refuse? ... Yes, as long as you are here, I will do my best to care for you. Thank you for giving me a chance.
I am doing this for your own good. So please, fight! Show me you are strong enough to survive!
This Napstablook is slightly more confident than their canon counterpart due to certain circumstances, but still soft-spoken. Any voice is fine. Napstablook makes appearances in all areas.
Oh. Well, they're not here. But I guess that was obvious... Sorry. This is awkward, isn't it? Maybe I should just go.
Um, anyway... I just wanna say that I don't agree with them. Because I met the human in the Ruins, and they were really nice.

Sans is the vice captain of the Royal Guard. He appears throughout Snowdin and makes appearances throughout Frisk's adventure.

Mettaton appears in Waterfall and Hotland but also makes an appearance in a TV broadcast in Snowdin. We're looking for a voice that can pull off hamminess, but is also capable of more subdued performances.
Good evening, beauties and gentlebeauties! This is Mettaton, hot off the presses with a sensational scoop! Reports are in, and it seems someone new! Someone shocking! And someone potentially deadly walks among us!
Well, Blooky believes in them. And I'd rather trust my cousin than the bitter raving of a guilt-ridden fish.
Well, Frisk, I can't openly assist you, but I can bend the rules. On one condition. I want you to help Alphys. Help my best friend stop tearing herself apart.
The Captain of the Royal Guard. She puts on a tough facade, but deep down she's still the nerdy lizard we know and love.
Attention all personnel. All power has been successfully restored. We're currently investigating the situation, so remember... all intruders are to be taken to my quarters for interrogation. Stay alert and stay safe! All right, now I can get back to telling that idiot how wrong he is about Mew Mew— ...wait, it's still on?! ... Disregard that last statement.

Undyne is the royal scientist and the biggest threat in Frisk's adventure. She makes cameos throughout, but appears mostly throughout Hotland and the end game.
Fuhuhu... It was awesome, wasn't it? Extra spears! Jets of fire!! A cannon to skewer any punk who DARES to challenge our freedom! ...But you had to go and RUIN it.
NOBODY trashes Papyrus on my watch! So what if he's nerdy? He's driven! He's PASSIONATE! He's... a total softy. So you better play nice, or so help me... you'll wish you had.
Damn it! I knew I should've done this myself! Alphys shouldn't have had to... [pause] You know what? SCREW IT! That little punk can fool as many monsters as they want! But I won't lose sight of what REALLY matters! For every monster who's cried for freedom, for all the dust shed... For all the pain, for all the heartache... I'll take destiny by the horns and SMASH that barrier! So go ahead, kid. Have your fun while you still can. We'll see whose determination wins out in the end.
The Queen of the Underground. She appears in New Home and the True Pacifist ending. This is a Toriel who has been pretty much broken by the things she's seen and done. She should sound tired and emotionally distant.
It has happened before. Homesickness. Longing. I tried so very hard to provide... Do you know how many stayed?
Such senseless hatred... Have they forgotten the hope we once held? In pursuing this path, they are no better than the humans they despise...
No, no, Papyrus. You should not turn the stove on so high! I realize that Undyne has a rather... intense method of cooking, but patience is crucial in the kitchen.
Asriel is featured in the True Pacifist ending, but his voice also shows up as Flowey's inner monologue.
Wait. That clueless stare. Did they.... forget about me?
I better be careful. If he's anything like HER, then he'll probably try and trap the kid under the thin guise of "protection." And I'd rather not get skewered by his pitchfork.

There's a certain five-letter word that's all to appropriate for this dog. She's constantly grumpy, but is actually still a massive dog underneath. Appears several times in Waterfall and has a boss fight.
Child, there is a human on the loose. The fort is at high security. Not a SOUL is to pass. Do you understand?
Cut the crap, skeleton! Unlike you, I! AM! NOT! A! FOOOOOOL! AND I DON'T ABANDON MY DUTIES FOR SOME CHILDISH FANTASY!

Gerson is a wise old man, if a bit kooky. He plays a large role in two part of the comic.
See? He gets it! And speakin' as someone who lived through it, this place ain't some tourist trap for aimless delinquents.

Ah, well, this here symbol's called the Delta Rune. It's the emblem of the Kingdom... of Monsters. Yeah, I know, it ain't the flashiest name. You can thank ol' Fluffybuns for that...
