Hello Everyone, my name is Zack and I am one of the Assistant Developers of a game that my team and I are calling Interitus: Manifest.
My team and I have been building this game for half a year now and we're beginning to enter the scary phase of marketing! What does this mean for you? Well, that means you get to apply to voice a character in our Promotional Material! Normally, I am the voice actor for our projects, but I proposed the idea of hosting a casting call for our first launch and the team was very enthusiastic about it!
But Zack, what IS Interitus: Manifest, exactly?
-Well, I'm glad you asked!
Interitus: Manifest is a strategic board game played between two players.
Each player (aka Conjuror) takes turns manifesting Sorcerers and using them as conduits to cast spells. The objective of the game is to eventually dispatch all of your opponent’s Sorcerers and the game ends when one player ends their turn without a single Sorcerer left, in which case that player is considered the loser.
However, games may also end in surrender. Although it is rare, a player will also lose if they have run out of cards in their deck and cannot draw when they should.
Interitus: Manifest is intended to be both beginner-friendly and highly-strategic. The game rules and card effects are intentionally kept simple for the sake of newer players, but the gameplay itself greatly rewards players who customize a well-built deck and a solid strategy. Although it is a card game where cards are drawn at random, a player can manifest whichever Sorcerer they need without needing to draw it.
- For example, if someone draws a hand full of Fire-type spells, they can simply manifest a Fire-wielding Sorcerer to cast those spells. This means that it is almost impossible to draw a bad hand.
Each player can assemble a deck of up to 15 Sorcerers before a game begins.
Throughout the game, they may manifest one Sorcerer of each color (Black, Red, Violet, Green, Blue).
You will be victorious if you can keep your Sorcerers alive or dispatch your opponent’s Sorcerers!
I noticed that Interitus contains a colon before manifest, is there a reason?
Yes! Interitus is a multiverse created by our Lead designer, Jordan M. Ashwood. The multiverse spans a series of Novels, games and now a Board game that you can pick up and play with your friends and family!
