Project Overview

"Interdimensional Diner" explores the absurdities of the multiverse and sci fi tropes in an Adult Swim (but still PG) styled animation! Each potential episode of this series would have new and unpredictable characters who walk through the doors! We will experiment in blending deadpan humor, surreal scenarios, and innovation by combining many talents into a jam packed production! Additionally, a touch of existentialism will be added, as a minimum wage employee at the diner, Sam, grapples with interdimensional glitches, tip jars that defy reality, and customers whose reviews transcend dimensions. This pilot promises a cosmic rollercoaster of comedic escapades! Project thumbnail created using AI!

  • 2024 Update: Interdimensional Diner

    Dear Followers and Members,

    We hope this message finds you well. Due to budget constraints and lack of production assistants, I regret to inform you of the difficult decision we have made to put the pilot of "Interdimensional Diner" on hold. We understand this news may be disappointing to many of you who were excited to see this unique concept come to life, and for that, we sincerely apologize.

    The journey to bring "Interdimensional Diner" into fruition has been an incredible experience, filled with creativity, passion, and enthusiasm from both our team and our wonderful community of supporters.

    While we have encountered challenges that have made it necessary to pause the project at this time, we want to emphasize that this is not a full cancellation. We firmly believe in the potential of "Interdimensional Diner" and remain committed to revisiting this idea when the time is right. We hope to come back to "Interdimensional Diner" in the future, stronger and more inspired, to deliver the extraordinary experience we all envisioned.

    Hello!

    Firstly, thank you all for applying for Interdimensional Diner's pilot! Our submissions are now CLOSED, and we will be presenting the cast list in our official Discord server! Upon joining, feel free to let me know of your potential availability in being a part of this project! It will provide me with better insight as to who is best suited for the production of this project! (Disclaimer: Casting list will be created for the first pilot episode, those who have not made it can still apply and be considered for any upcoming roles needed for this project or ones preceding it!)

    • Eddie plays a cosmic piano and hangs out near the entrance. He enjoys creating existential jazz tunes that resonate with the peculiar vibe of the Interdimensional Diner. His music reflects the ever-shifting nature of the multiverse.


  • Casual Spaceman/Spacewoman

  • The Casual Spaceman/Spcaewoman is an audience insert as a new customer who eagerly explores the interdimensional menu. With a sense of wonder and a taste for the unknown, this character inadvertently triggers cosmic events with every order, turning her dining experience into a journey through alternate realities.


  • Octavia Culinaria: The Octopus Sous-Chef


    • Octavia is an octopus with a passion for culinary creativity. Operating multiple appendages with finesse, Octavia assists Ziggy in the kitchen, creating dishes that challenge the limits of taste and texture.


  • Peacemaking, Stoic Alien

  • Whatever you'd like to add! Think Martian Manhunter


  • Geraldine Eyegazer: The HR Manager from Another Galaxy


    • Geraldine is the quirky HR manager with seven eyes and an obsession with ensuring that every employee is adaptable in every possible reality. She conducts bizarre job evaluations and keeps the cosmic paperwork in order, all while maintaining an otherworldly charm.



  • Quasar Quantumfizz: The Alien Regular


    • Quasar is a regular customer with an alien appearance and telepathic abilities. Despite never uttering a word out loud, Quasar communicates with the staff and other customers through a mix of colorful thoughts and emotive gestures. (Would require grunts and sounds)



  • Marty Timebender: The Time-Traveling Food Critic


    • Marty hails from various eras and dimensions, offering critiques on the dishes served at the Interdimensional Diner. His reviews, spanning time and space, add an extra layer of absurdity to the culinary adventures.
