Wow guys, there are so many TALENTED individuals who auditioned, and I'm so TORN on who to pick. I even considered creating new roles to employ some more of you guys. This is really the cream of the crop!
I'm looking through them now, If you've been dismissed, DO NOT FRET, I've marked you down, there are some performances that impressed me enough to want to have you on later stages of the project! As for the rest, my shortlist is looking REALLY long, and I'm having difficulty choosing, but we are getting there most definitely.
"In the sun-drenched lands of Hammerfell, Inkobaluzami III was born into a family blessed by the gods, yet cursed by their own expectations. The eldest son of the renowned healer Inkobaluzami II, his birth was marked by both joy and sorrow. While his siblings exhibited extraordinary magical talents, Inkobaluzami III was a stark contrast, devoid of any magical ability but possessing a physical prowess that bordered on the supernatural."
This is a voice acting project for an upcoming Skyrim follower mod centered around an original character of mine, Inkobaluzami III. This mod will include a fully voiced companion with a rich backstory and deep interactions with the Dragonborn, as well as additional characters involved in the max affinity and romance missions. The goal of this mod is to create an immersive and cinematic experience, enhancing the storytelling and emotional depth within the game.
Inkobaluzami III is a Redguard male in his late 20s, characterized by his calm and rational demeanor. Though he lacks magical affinity, he possesses incredible physical endurance and stamina. As a follower of the Last Dragonborn, he navigates the complexities of his family dynamics and his unique abilities while contributing to the Dragonborn’s journey. I'm looking for a voice actor who can capture his stoic nature, subtle warmth, and underlying strength.
For those unfamiliar with Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open-world RPG set in a high fantasy universe, where the player takes on the role of the Dragonborn, a hero with the power to absorb the souls of dragons. The game features a vast world with intricate quests, lore, and character interactions, making it a beloved classic among RPG fans.
Role Requirements:
Since this is a paid project funded directly out of pocket, timings are not strict in the slightest. Everything is a rough draft until otherwise, and there's no need to stress.
Please ensure that your microphone can record without overwhelming background noise, peaking, or clipping. The role of Inkobaluzami III involves a range of emotions, from calm reasoning to intense moments of action and drama. Therefore, the ability to convey a wide emotional spectrum is crucial.
Additional roles for the max affinity and romance missions involve more focused, character-driven interactions, often requiring a more intimate and nuanced performance. These roles are smaller but equally important for bringing the story to life.
Compensation:
Inkobaluzami III (Main Role): $200 upfront + a deferred high % if the mod becomes beloved enough for people to want more content.
Additional Smaller Roles: $50 each + 5 each (involved in max affinity and romance missions)
Payment will be made upfront before any recording begins. This ensures that your time is valued and you are compensated before you commit to recording lines. The audition deadline is set to allow sufficient time for selection and payment arrangements.
