Heya! I'm Wiz, the director of this series! This will be my biggest project to date, consisting of 9+ episodes! Above, you will find an example of my work.
[SYNOPSIS]
Welcome to Influencer Island, where the top influencers from around the world gather for one summer! Our selective program prepares aspiring artists, politicians, and athletes for the challenges they will face in the future. We strive to mold the young generation in a way that will positively impact society, from the way they think to the way they speak.
[RULES FOR AUDITIONERS]
1. Timing: Please submit your audition on time! However, the deadline is flexible, since I don't yet know when the script will be finished.
2. Quality: Use a decent microphone, with as little background noise as possible.
3. Dedication: By auditioning, you are agreeing to be dedicated to the project and to submit all your lines on time! This is a long-term project, meaning that you will need to continue to voice for approximately a year. Every episode will have a one to three week deadline, depending on the circumstances.
4. Communication: Please include your Discord tag in the audition, as that is how I will be communicating with everybody.
5. Acting: This will be a voice ACTED mini movie. Please put some emotion into your lines!
6. Age: I’d like everybody that is participating to be at least 13 years old. This is because the voices should match the characters, who are teenagers or adults.
7. Characters: You can audition for as many characters as you want! However, you may only audition once per character, but you can do multiple takes within that voice file.
[EXTRA INFORMATION]
1. Deadline: The deadline is March 31st, 2021.
2. Gacha: This project will be a Gacha mini movie.
3. Extras: Various other characters will appear throughout the series, so if you don't get cast this time around, be aware of future Casting Calls!
DESCRIPTION: Andrew is the protagonist of this series. He's extremely laid back, and prefers to stay lowkey if possible. He doesn't really concern himself with relationships, but there are a few people that he cares about.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Politician/Political Figure
(Bored) "This is going nowhere quick."
(Hesitant) "I don't feel like doing anything, but if it moves this mess along..."
(Panicked) "Hey, wait! Where are you going?!"
DESCRIPTION: Olivia is a mild-tempered girl, who could be described as shy. She's more of a follower than a leader, and rarely speaks up for herself. This may be due to the rumors that surrounded her as a child...
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Musician/Pop Singer
(Surprised) "H-huh? Is someone... there?"
(Nervous) "I-I mean... you've been standing there for a long time now... Don't you wanna take a break?"
(Shocked) "WHAA- was that necessary?!"
DESCRIPTION: Robert is a natural leader, extremely charismatic and friendly. From a young age, he was taught to be considerate to every person. If he had to have a weakness, it would definitely be his hatred for conflicts... or would it?
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Politician/Political Figure
(Friendly) "Alright, I know we all got off on the wrong foot, and I know y'all probably hate each other right now..."
(Commanding, but respectful) "If you're going to be problematic, then I invite you to go to the back of the plane. Understood?"
(Thoughtful) "Alright... uh... change of plans, then! Hey, Andrew, do you mind keeping an eye on her?"
DESCRIPTION: Persephone is peppy and upbeat, and it would be hard to find anybody who could surpass her energy. She gives off a "cutesy" vibe, but can be a bit clingy at times.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Novelist/Author
(Laughing happily) "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
(Annoyed) "No way! Using big words doesn't make you smart, it just makes you conceited!"
(Innocent) "We? Ohhh, she's here too! Nevermind, then, you probably couldn't have killed me!"
DESCRIPTION: Despite his sarcastic exterior, Cyrus can be quite meticulous. He is extremely knowledgeable in many areas and prides himself in his brain. He... not so secretly... enjoys looking down on others.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Scholar/Record Keeping
(Sarcastic) "Are you an idiot? There's literally a sign in the airport that says 'no drinks permitted.'"
(Snorts) "And what does Abraham Lincoln have to do with this?"
(Dark) "And why should I help you?"
DESCRIPTION: Adeline might come off as rude at first, but she's just really passionate... about... well- everything! She has a set of values she'll defend until the end, as well as a fiery temper. Don't get into an argument with her, otherwise, things could get heated.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Fashionista/Model
(Furious) "Are you ignoring me? Oh, I SWEAR, you are not going to get away with this!"
(Passionate) "Hm? Ah, another person! Great, get over here and help me knock this door down!"
(Indifferent) "Suit yourself, then. But, in my opinion, you shouldn't let someone control you like that."
DESCRIPTION: Evan is a very conflicted character. On one hand, he wants people to like him. On the other? He just wants some peace and quiet. Even though he is massively successful in the music industry, mainly because of his family heritage, he is very insecure.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Musician/Pop Singer
(Annoyed) "CAN YOU GUYS BE QUIET? I'M TRYING TO LISTEN TO MY MUSIC IN PEACE."
(Awkward) "Uh- Olivia! You should go back there and, um... introduce yourself to them! Byeeee!"
(Insecure) "I mean, yeah, I'm famous! Probably more than you."
DESCRIPTION: Brynn, despite her mean disposition, will be loyal until the very end. She might've ended up better, if it weren't for the poor influences surrounding her. She can and will hold a grudge.
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Athlete/Jock
(Yelling) "I ALREADY TOLD YOU, STOP TRYING TO GET IN! YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!"
(Spiteful) "Hey, weirdos, Griffin says he doesn't wanna see your nasty faces."
(Laughs)
DESCRIPTION: Griffin is an all-around jerk. He's not afraid of stooping to low levels to get what he wants, even if what he's after is unreasonable. Despite all of his shortcomings, there must be a reason some people like him... right? Right?
AREA OF INFLUENCE: Athlete/Jock
(Mocking) "Yeah? And what do you want me to do about that, your majesty? Should I get down on my knees and pray for forgiveness, lest you execute me?"
(Menacingly) "I'd be more than happy to return the favor..."
(Tense) "Say that to my face, I dare you."
