In Stars and Time is a video game about time loops. As the country of Vaugarde is frozen in time by a man known only as the King, five heroes gear up to attempt to stop the King. As they're on the cusp of fighting the King, Siffrin, one of the heroes, dies stupidly, and finds himself waking up the previous morning. He quickly realizes he's looping in time, and uses this power to try and help his party save Vaugarde.
Vaugarde is based loosely on France, as the developer of the game is French. French accents are absolutely not necessary though.
This dub will take the form of a series of YouTube videos, with the dubbed audio playing over the game’s text. We will also be covering “START AGAIN START AGAIN START AGAIN: a prologue”, the pseudo prequel that takes place in a separate continuity and gives more context for specific moments.
This casting call includes full spoilers for the game, including one very major spoiler regarding the identity of a major character. I highly recommend playing this game because it is one of the best games I have ever played, and I do not want to have this casting call ruin it for you.

Hey everyone! Auditions are closed! I extended the deadline to new years day because CCC was being a bit weird with the end date being earlier than it should have and I wanted to make up for that, but now I am going to start evaluating everyone's auditions to pick the cast. There's so many good auditions that it's hard to choose, and if you didn't get in, it's probably not because you did poorly, but rather because there's so much steep competition. I expect casting results to be ready in about a week.
NPC casting was done off site on a google form, however very few people auditioned for that? I might potentially open auditions for that up again later, or more likely ask a few VA friends I know to fill in for any of the NPCs who didn't get any auditions.
I'm still working behind the scenes on the script writing process, and we will likely start recording when it's done. I have no idea how long that will take, it really depends on how many spoons I have at any given time. I want to get that done sooner rather than later though.

Siffrin is a quiet, introverted character who loves making puns and stupid jokes at every opportunity. They're the leader of the party, and are generally kind when a friend is in need, but he also likes to keep to himself most of the time and just listen while everyone talks. As time goes on, and they stay stuck in the time loop, they become more jaded and disconnected from everyone, as everything his friends say becomes something they've heard a hundred times.

Mirabelle is someone who would be the protagonist in any other story. She was the first one to go on the journey to go fight the King, and is unique in being the only one immune to being frozen in time. She is very shy, polite, and mild-mannered, is often very anxious and non-confrontational, but cares a lot about her friends, and is a great person to talk to if you need a shoulder to lean on.

It's a full anthology all about pure-hearted boys being subjected to awful monsters and horror situations!!! Seeing them screaming in fright... I cannot help but root for them, and at the same time be happy I am not in their situation!!! There is something lovingly touching about those tales, something wonderfully hopeful!!! I cannot help but read them and pray for their survival!!!

Isabeau is a big strong dude with a heart of gold, and who comes across as a bit of an airhead sometimes. He's probably what you'd call the “himbo” archetype, except he's actually rather smart, and resents that people think he's an idiot because he's big and muscular
Looking for a voice that sounds big and tough, but can also sweet and gentle if need be. Would be neat if he was played by a transmasculine actor, but that is absolutely not necessary.

Odile is the oldest of the group, with her age not being explicitly stated, but she's likely in her 40s or 50s. Odile is cautious, observant, knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects, and is generally a very no-nonsense kind of person.
She is mixed, being half Ka Buan (Ka Bue being a fictional country based loosely on Japan) and half Vaugardian, and this is relevant to her arc. I want Asian actors who will be able to portray that authentically.

A mysterious astral being. A guide figure of sorts, looking to assist Siffrin with the loops, as they are the only other person who retains awareness within the loops. Playful and often coy, but hiding a deep sadness underneath.
Loops true identity is in fact, Siffrin from a previous reality where they never got help. More specifically, the Siffrin from START AGAIN: a prologue. While they are Siffrin, I imagine they have a voice that sounds audibly different to Siffrin, in part because I think having them share an actor would spoil the twist. Beyond that though, I have no idea what Loop sounds like. Have fun with it!
