Imaginary Girlfriend
Project Overview
Imaginary Girlfriend is a small personal project of mine that will utilize simple 3D assets to create a small web series.
The story follows Endo and Himari, two teenagers on the island of Guam who must deal with sudden attacks from alien invaders. They are protected by Yume, a magical alien girl that only Endo can see, who promises to keep him safe from the aliens.
The series is planned to consist of 5 episodes of 5 minutes each, with the plots exploring interesting facets of Guam's culture, cheesy romance between the characters, and lots of jokes reminiscent of old school anime. You are ideally someone who is active on a platform such as Discord, open to a few 're-recordings' for the first episode as we find the right balance, and a fan of cartoons and/or anime.

Endo is that 'slightly below average' guy you see in any show, that main character with nothing particularly special about him. He's not a loser, but not popular. He's upbeat, but not over the top. He's just interested in hanging out with his best friend Himari, and trying to stay away from these aliens trying to attack him. Endo is American, but Himari is Chamorro (A local from Guam). Despite being best friends, they're more like brother and sister. They spend most of their time bickering and always acting like they know better than each other, but they never have real arguments. Just bickering.

I'm not entirely sure what happened next. I closed my eyes, I was afraid to look... When I opened them again, all I saw was *her* standing over me. It was love at first sight, and it just so happened to be for a girl I was never going to see again...
It's smog. Every once in a while a cloud of pollution blows in from China. It can cover the island for days...
I mean I'm not happy about it... I know it's not good for you... and it's definitely not good for the atmosphere... but there's something about the smell... it's like fireworks... and the way the smog covers the island... It's so beautiful... and then all of this rain?
None of it is supposed to be good... but something about it just makes me... happy.
That's now that works Himari! You can't just eat it while walking around the store! You have to pay for it first!
Himari is a Chamorro girl from the island of Guam. She is spunky and bossy and does not like being told to do. She has no problem putting her best friend, Endo, in his place, but at the end of the day the two are best friends, and the worst they really do is 'bicker' as opposed to fight. Instead, Himari directs her anger more at the aliens that are invading her island, and has no problem kicking any of them in the face if they make her mad.
Himari is a Chamorro girl, which is the local race to the island of Guam. The Chamorro race is a very small people, so while I would to have a Chamorro voice actress for this part if possible, finding one will be hard, so I am open to all races. the intent of the series is to feel like anime, but in 3D, so a voice actress with experience in anime / fan dubs is what I am looking for, as opposed to someone who can do the chamorro accent.

(Trying to give her friend a hard time) Don't use my name, ENDO, it sounds creepy when you say it. Besides, Does anyone actually like going to school in america? University of Guam is right next to the beach!
Ugh, thanks for bumping into me! What, you can't see through the smog? Or did you slip on the rain? Lets go get to class, this smell is killing me.
Listen here, Endo, I know he tried to kill you, but I think I might be in love with him, so that's something you're going to have to deal with. Don't get me wrong, I'll break it off if he tries anything, but I think he's reformed now, you should be fine.
Yume is an extra-dimensional software that has been injected into our universe. She understands everything that she can access on the internet, but doesn't really understand humans or their emotions, despite finding them charming or endearing. She can be a bit robotic, but not entirely monotonous, a hard line to draw, though some of the examples of characters / voice types listed below may help. It's not that she should ever sound emotionless, just about halfway muted. Despite not being a 'real human', she begins to develop feelings for Endo, who is the only one who can see her.

Endo, The information I have on this island indicates that fog is not common here. Yet the island seems entirely enveloped in it.
As long as you don't tell my name to anyone you know, you'll be the only one who can see me. The minute someone else hears my name, they'll see me too, so you should always be very certain you trust someone before introducing them to me in this way.
