Yeong-Gi Hirahara, commonly known as Yeong-Gi, is the second son to Randulph Skuli Hirahara. His immediate family members called him by nickname - Nol. He is currently enrolled as a student in Nongke Math and Science Academy (NMSA) and is working in Hirahara Corporation, his father's company.
Yeong-Gi has a bright personality and is often chipper. He is seen as a very friendly, approachable person. Unlike Kousuke, Yeong-Gi displays his happier emotions more openly. He is also very persistent as shown in the beginning of his relationship with Shin-Ae. Yeong-Gi is very observant and quick, similar to Kousuke, as they both perceive situations and people's intentions. Yeong-Gi treats people equally no matter what path of life they walk. He is a man who keeps his promises, often saying "you have my word" and fulfilling it afterward. His kind personality can be easily misunderstood or taken for granted, which has taken its turn for him. Initially and even later on-his actions are proved sincerely when Kousuke explained its his natural demeanor. However, when his anger is triggered, Yeong-Gi acts quite aggressively and headstrong, directing his anger to his punching bag rather than expressing those negative emotions verbally. It has been hinted that he has been struggling to contain his internal pain and conflict. On a couple of occasions, his seething pain has vented out in his thoughts and towards Kousuke.

Kousuke Hirahara (also known as "Q-Tip"[1] by Shin-Ae) is the first son of Randulph Skuli Hirahara and Yui Hirahara. He is working as one of the high authority in Hirahara Corporation as his father owns the company as chairman.
Kousuke, at first, seems like a cold and snobbish person but he has a soft side to him when people get to know him. He can be overprotective and caring, especially towards his younger brother Yeong-Gi. However, he can also be condescending and blunt to people he sees as inferior to him, as demonstrated by his first few interactions with Shin-Ae, calling her a "fatass"[2] and insulting her because of her lack of wealth.
He has a tendency to conceal his true emotions. He acts and talks sarcastically but his words often have deeper meanings. He seems to have quite a bit of humor, which is occasionally shown during 'Kousuke's Corner'. He usually has a serious facial expression and Kousuke doesn't like being around girls and has rejected Meg every time she offers to hang out. He gives the excuse of being busy work to avoid dating questions. Kousuke carries a makeup remover to scare the girls away, including Meg. However, he is true to his word and will do what he has promised.
My mother... did she force you to come to my apartment??? You mentioned her just now! Aren't you supposed to be in school too? I need to have a word with her.
Miss Yoo left this dress in my bathroom. I know you gave this to her. She can't afford anything like this...
Not to mention her unrefined sense in fashion. Even if she had the money, she would never buy something as tasteful as this.

Yui Hirahara is Kousuke's mother, & wife of Randulph Hirahara. She is a businesswoman in the Hirahara Corp, in charge of the Health Facilities.
Yui is portraited as a business minded woman, in which she determines the worth of a person depends on the person's potential contribution that can benefits for her agendas, especially for her son's future as Hirahara Corporation's president.
Yui can be very blunt sometimes. In one of the latest chapters, she defended Shin-Ae from Megan's unending bickering.
Yui is also very observant and clever. She realized that her son Kousuke seemed intrigued by Shin-Ae, and managed to get the exact reaction out of him that she wanted, by hiring her as her assistant for the day. By doing that, she was also able to uncover Shin-Ae's home life
Please take care of her properly okay, honey?

Randulph Skuli Hirahara is the Chairman of the Hirahara Corporation and the father of Kousuke Hirahara and Yeong-Gi.
He’s a business man who is really intimidating, especially to Yeong- Gi. He is super perfessional and mean. The definition of Jerk right here.

Dieter is a German student who is one of Yeong-Gi's closest friends, the other few including Soushi and Shin-Ae. He is also friends with Maya and Rika.

I think it’s his skin. He’s got velvety smooth skin as soft as a baby’s bottom.

What’s so special about the bathroom?
Rika Lau is one of Shin-Ae's closest friends, along with Maya Park. She is also friends with Yeong-Gi, Soushi, and Dieter. Her father works for Kousuke Hirahara and his family.
Rika is a kind-hearted and benevolent girl who is the most sensible one out of her close group of friends. In general, Rika is a sweet, gentle-hearted person but she can sometimes act unusually jealous when it comes to the things she adores (such as Mr. Huge Jackedman's biceps, which she wrote a whole blog about).
Rika is very understanding, knowing her faults and mistakes should not be a burden for others. She has the tendency to blabber to the point where it may be unnecessary and then regret it afterward. Rika is also quite an observant girl and because of her observations, Rika was able to identify what Maya was doing and so she warned Maya about her actions, stating that it may affect her and Shin-Ae's friendship.
Why don’t you end that no dating attitude of yours?
No. I was saying maybe when you find a guy, he’ll provide for you so you won’t have to worry about a thing.

This guy is sympathetic but is only here for his money. He’s a sweet guy, caring, but will do business first. He’s sympathetic towards Shin-Ae.

Park Min-Hyuk[1] is one of Shin-Ae's good friends and Maya's older brother who is currently studying abroad in Chicago, America.
Min-Hyuk is known as an easy-going person who has a bubbly and humorous personality as he often jokes around with Shin-Ae. He can be sarcastic at times as shown in chapter 14 where he jokes about how no one would like to be friends with Shin-Ae. Min-Hyuk likes to use modern slang, especially with Shin-Ae. Min-Hyuk can also be quite sneaky and cunning as he and his sister organise a meet-up between Shin-Ae and Kousuke.
Texting your best bud is different from seeing them...so what’s up with the video call?

Alyssa Cho is a famous celebrity, the younger sister of Megan Cho and is currently in a relationship with Yeong-Gi.
She’s very happy all the time which is kind of suspicious now.

Sim Han Yoo is the single father of Shin-Ae.
Sim Han is a loving father to his daughter Shin-Ae. Since his wife left him, he tries to become responsible for Shin-Ae's life and study expenses by burying himself in work, usually coming home late.
He has a tendency to binge-drink whenever faced with adversity, most recently during his and Shin-Ae's current financial crisis.

Kim Sang-Chul is the son of Geon Kim, the K-Mall owner. He is an associate of the Hirahara Corp as well as the Hirahara family.
Sang-Chul is rather blunt and arrogant to everyone around him as he casually brings up topics that are rather uncomfortable to other people, he comes off as rather unenthused by his father’s line of work, and working in general as he lazily told Shin-Ae how to fill out the paperwork he had handed to her. From his behavior towards Shin-Ae, Sang-Chul seems to be rather persistent as he made himself abundantly clear of his interest in Shin-Ae and his refusal to leave her be, showing a forgo to take no for an answer.
Yeah. Sure. He uses eggs to keep his skin clear. Whatever.

Soushi is Yeong-Gi and Dieter's close friend. He is also friends with Shin-Ae, Rika and Maya.
Soushi is known to be a very outgoing person and is quite intimidating to some because of his delinquent-like appearance but in reality, Soushi is quite friendly and approachable. He is misunderstood by a lot of other people who think that he is a delinquent when he's really not. Soushi has an interest in video games and is generally a humorous person.
Even from his first appearance in the webtoon, it was evident that he was a good friend of Yeong-Gi's. He is also good friends with Dieter and Shin-Ae, who he sometimes looks at as a rival when it comes to playing games.
Man.... that dude is always getting in trouble with the ladies.
