House of X (X-Men) Comic Dub
Project Overview
Hi Everyone!
This project is a comic dub of the House of X/Dawn of X series. I would like to continue this series throughout the Dawn of X run so I ask that if you audition, you are interested in a long term project! These comic dubs will be uploaded to youtube.
Due to the need of many characters throughout the series, I am casting now for the 6th - 8th issues of the Powers of X. Description of the 6th issue below:
In Observation, Cyclops informs Professor X and Magneto that he has assembled a team in order to attack the Mother Mold facility orbiting the Sun. Cyclops the briefs the team, composed of Wolverine, Husk, Archangel, Monet St. Croix, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, and Mystique on their mission, and they take off from the Summer House.
In the superhuman prison known as Project Achilles, a trial is being held for Sabretooth. The trial is interrupted by Emma Frost, who presents the judge with a pardon from the U.S. Supreme Court, along with all requisite paperwork, as the U.S. government has agreed to a general amnesty for all mutants on American soil, in anticipation of Krakoa becoming a sovereign nation. Despite the protests of the human officials at the court, Emma and Sabretooth are allowed to walk free and return to Krakoa.
On the Orchis Forge, where the Mother Mold is being constructed, the human scientists detect that the X-Men are inbound. Nightcrawler is sent in for recon and encounters the chief scientist and Omega Sentinel. Omega Sentinel deduces that the X-Men plan to attack the control collars in order to send the Mother Mold hurtling into the Sun. The X-Men dock onto the station and begin drilling their way in. Realizing that their only hope of defeating the X-Men is an asymmetrical response, Erasmus, the chief of security, sets off a bomb, killing himself and destroying the X-Men's vessel.

While Emma Frost lay in a comatose state, Dr. John Sublime harvested eggs from her to begin experimentation. The Weapon Plus program then used the eggs to create thousands of identical mutant girls in the hope of developing a powerful weapon capable of killing every mutant on Earth by combining their telepathic abilities. The project was designated Weapon XIV, and the girls were incubated and artificially aged inside the subterranean level of The World. While most girls remained dormant, five were sent to infiltrate the Xavier Institute as student sisters to hone their talents for Sublime's purpose.
After the Xavier Institute went public, Esme and her sisters were enrolled as orphan quintuplet sisters. To protect their secret origins, the girls unconsciously placed mental blocks in the minds of the faculty preventing them from investigating their background. The girls quickly gained the moniker "The Stepford Cuckoos", though their chosen codename was the Five-In-One. Emma Frost took a special interest in the girls, and the Cuckoos became her protégés.
She was living on the sovereign nation state of Krakoa for mutants, created by Charles Xavier, Magneto, and Moira X. The Stepford Cuckoos and Magneto welcome a delegation of international ambassadors and representatives to give them a quick tour of this new world (showing them the new Jerusalem Habitat) while setting the terms of the new mutant state and its relationship to humanity.
Esme's powers are identical to that of her sisters.

Doctor Gregor was an A.I.M. scientist who led an Orchis exhibition team to the Orchis Forge to determine if the station was fully capable of supporting human life before they brought it online. As she directed the rest of her team to spread about the station, Gregor and Omega Sentinel went to the main bridge to assess the functionality of the Mothermold.
After station personnel started to board the Forge, Dr. Gregor was contacted by her husband Captain Mendel about a Shi'ar Scout ship who came into sensor range of the station. Mendel surmised that it was a team of X-Men who came there to shut down their project. Dr. Gregor redirected all the drones that were sent for mining duty back to the Forge to help protect it.
Gregor and Omega Sentinel then came into contact with Nightcrawler who teleported there to locate the collar controls for the docking port. After a brief interlude, Nightcrawler was able to find the locking mechanism to allow their ship to dock with the station. Gregor kept the comms open so her husband could hear what was going on. He headed to one of the main ports and he gave Alia a heartfelt goodbye as he pulled the trigger killing himself while taking the Scout ship with him.
Following the attack, Alia proceeded to build a weapon against mutants and wanting to bring back her husband to life.

I'm perfectly aware of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Erasmus. But I've already had breakfast and just maybe I don't want to waste my entire morning beholden to my baser instincts. Protocol is boring, dear. Be bold, I say.
