Project Overview
A few characters in my two comic dubs are in need of new voice actors. Good luck to everyone auditioning!
NOTE: If you get casted, it is very important you agree to be reasonably dependable, and that you'll stick around for the part. We've had too many voice actors simply vanish without warning, so I simply want to ensure this doesn't continue happening.

Toby is an exchange explorer from another guild who joins the main characters' team of explorers. Loud, giddy and energetic, he serves as the naive, optimistic youth of the group. He should speak in a loud, high-pitched voice, and with a heavy English accent. That last part is important!
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Toby is part of the MAIN FOUR, so auditioning for this part means you are willing to stick with us for the long run, even between long periods of little to no communication. Please understand, if you're unsure whether you'll be able to stay with the project for the long-term, we will have to find someone different for the part.

(Toby's a bit too eager to jump into things as if it's a game, displaying his childlike nature.)

Yena is the loyal but strong-willed assistant of the Guild mistress. Despite being overworked, she is polite and willing to do what is needed for the guild. This is not to be mistaken for weakness, however; Yena has a strong moral fiber and will put everything on the line if it means standing up for what she believes in.
Note: Her name is pronounced "Yee-nuh."
"You're not wrong, I do hate numbers a lot. Still, seeing the guild the way it's been lately, and watching Lea handle everything by herself, it makes me wonder what else I can do for her. I mean, I am a guild member."
(Sorrowful, a bit guilty)

(Her question is met with an awkward silence)
"...You guys don't have a team leader yet, do you?"

(Shocked, stern and serious. Xael is pronounced "Zale.")

Phobia the Mew is a major antagonist of Aezae's Tales. She is as wicked as her words are seductive, and she seems to have a mysterious interest in the main character despite them never having been onscreen together. I personally imagine her manner of speaking being similar to Azula from ATLA (Not like a full blown Grey Griffin impression, moreso just her tone and attitude).
"Oh? No complaints? Allow me to elaborate, then. I heard a rumor that a stranded Pokémon was wandering the streets. Some say he was looking for a friend of his."
(Smug, conniving. She knows she's scored.)

(Flippant and sarcastic, but to the point.)

(Bitter and enraged. She's clearly been holding back anger towards this person for a long time.)

Xenon, the Mew of Light, serves as an unconventional mentor figure for the protagonist of Hope in Friends, sporting a uniquely sinister disposition. After the loss of his younger brother, he became a hardened killer who isn't afraid to do what he thinks is necessary to ensure he finds and properly shapes his successor. Despite his wicked, spiteful nature, he is shown to have moments of empathy and concern for his pupils, both past and present. This part will require significant range.
A while back, during the first casting call I did for this character, I decided to create a quick demonstration for the manner in which Xenon speaks. I'm hoping to find someone who can deliver his lines in this general tone, but with a bit more of a deep/mature voice than mine. Here's the link to listen to it: https://youtu.be/wgUyGnnJ20I
"OR ELSE WHAT, BROTHER?"
(The protagonist is frightened into silence.)
"Kehehe! You should see the look on your face. I was just fucking with you! I intend to release your friend from my control anyway. To be honest, I did try possessing the Buizel for a short time, but... UGH! The moment I did, all I could hear was some shit about curry. She wouldn't shut up! So, I released her from my control. Anyways, let's get to introductions..."

"You believe killing evil people is justified, you're just conditioned to say otherwise! I finally found someone who shares my philosophy! YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME!"

(This next line takes place in the past, during a period where Xenon was a completely different type of person: a kind, compassionate mentor and older brother. It's a different side of Xenon we've never seen until this point.)
"Come on, you did great! Please don't make that face. I don't like seeing you like this."
(His brother tells him he can't do it, and he'll never be as good as him.)
"Enone... you don't have to be like me to be accepted as the Mew of Hope. You've just got to be yourself, and you'll find your own way."
(Enone is pronounced "E-known.")

Former friend to one of the lead characters, Lucky is someone who realized long ago that a life of adventure is too dangerous and unpredictable for him after experiencing a sudden and tragic loss. This put him at odds with said character, who vowed to go on in spite of it all. This led to a painful falling-out between the two Pokémon of which its effects still linger. Lucky likely has a mellow, somber tone to his voice, but with a recurring resonance of frustration beneath the surface with his colleague who refuses to listen to his reasoning.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE GOING TO GET US KILLED!"

"Well... I no longer want to be an explorer. I want to settle down, get a safer job. Maybe even start a family. And... most importantly, I want you to quit with me. Think about it, we can buy a nice house! We can get normal, safe jobs. I can cook, and you can play the piano at the restaurant!"
(Izzy disregards this, assuming their recent tragedy still has Lucky shaken up.)
"It's not just Oxide. I've always been scared, Izzy. Scared of not waking up the next morning when I sleep in the forest or a cave. Scared of every battle we've had. I'm not brave like you."

"Do you really have to throw your life away? You could die, just like them! I'm so sick of you thinking you know what's best, running away like that, as if you're better than everyone else. You never listen to anyone who's just trying to help you! You act like you're wise, but you're not wise, you're reckless. You're ignorant, foolish, and naïve, but you're my friend and I don't want to see you die!"

Known as the Mew of Chaos, Caesium, or "Caesi" for short, has seemingly gone off the deep end since he gained his powers. Not much is known about him yet, but he appears to torment one of his brothers in a nightmare during one of Hope in Friends' prequel chapters. It is very likely he will appear again in the future. Go all-out on the dark and edgy!

A young, troubled Eevee that the Mew of Hope has been called to assist. She acts as a supporting character in the prequel chapter of Hope in Friends she and the Mew are featured in, then later appears in the main comic.
In her first chronological appearance, she is an awkward teenager, then later on, in the main story, she reappears as a confident young adult, so the ability to play two different ages is important.
"T-That's just a title! W-What's y-your REAL name?"
(She is asked why this matters.)
"H-How can I trust s-someone I don't know?"
"By the way, I've 'borrowed' one of my father's books. It's about you and the other Marked Mews, but it's clearly outdated and full of misinformation. I was hoping you'd help me correct it? If you want, of course."
(Years after her first appearance, Akiko is now a young adult.)
"Usha has personally requested for me to escort Ben and Neon to her office. 'Any and all orders from Mizo that go against these ones are strictly denied.' Those are, uhh, her words. Not mine."
