Hollow Knight with Lyrics | Symphony of Hallownest
Project Overview
Hey everyone, we are The Muses Mire. A group channel on Youtube that create lyric videos to soundtracks in games. Previously we have worked on a few projects including Dark Deception: Songs of the Shards and The Koopaling Collection. We are a dedicated team that tries our best to get out the work we set for ourselves.
We will be doing a package covering many of the songs in Hollow Knight, focusing on various bosses and areas. We hope you will consider auditioning and be sure to follow the guidelines

GUIDELINES:
1. Age Requirements If you are to audition, you must be at least 16 years of age
2. Good Mic Quality: We wanna make sure that the sound quality is as consistent as it can be across all the videos. Anything with too much background noise will not be considered and it would be helpful if files can be sent using a .mp3 or .wav format.
3. Commitment: We don't want to bring on people who won't be dedicated to putting time into helping our project. Make sure that if you audition, you are willing to stay involved until the project is finished.
4. Singing Capabilities: We are by no means looking for broadway sounding vocals but as long as the voice you're portraying sounds fitting when put to song, you will be more likely to be considered for a role.
5. Discord: If you are cast for a role then you'll be required to join our Discord where it will be easier to interact and get audio from. We ask that you include your Discord tag in the description of your audition
And that should be it. Don't be afraid to ask questions about specific aspects of how things are going to be run. We hope that you have fun and we're excited to hear and see what you guys produce.

False Knight is a creature who bears a large suit of armour in order to protect their family. They put on a brave face in an attempt to become stronger.
The voice should convey that the Knight is putting up this appearance to make it seem they are braver than they actually are. There could be a bit of dumb brute energy. This voice can be either Male or Female

Hornet is a bug who protects Hallownest and makes an attempt to prevent the Vessel's attempt to unseal the Hollow Knight.
Hornets voice should be calm and stoic as a lonesome warrior

The Soul Master is a tyrant who has studied and ingested high amounts of soul, driving him to insanity in an attempt to make himself immortal. He is proud of what he has achieved despite his horrific actions
His voice should be imposing and grand but also communicate how much of a monster he has become

The Mantis Lords are a council of bugs who grant passage to those skilled enough to beat them in honourable combat into Deepnest. The three sisters are hardened and agile warriors.
We are looking to cast 3 separate people for this role.

Nosk is a strange creature that dwells within Deepnest who shapeshifts to lure creatures into it's lair. The character is quite eager to lure new prey in order to feast on it
We are looking for multiple people to voice this character.
Voice One: Should be very animalistic and creature like. It should not sound at all human as much as possible while still being able to sing properly
Voice Two: A low male voice that sounds quite sinister and ghostly
Voice Three: A female voice that sounds quite sinister and ghostly

The Broken Vessel is the shattered corpse of a vessel reanimated through infection. They will be a voice for all the vessels who were forgotten
Their voice should be sad and ghostly to show how they derive from a forgotten age of Hallownest. This voice can be either Male or Female

Hive Knight is the proud knight sworn to defend the Hive and continuing his duties long after his Queen has passed.
Hive Knight should be energetic and filled with pride about his home with some trait that makes him sound more bee-like

Zote is grumpy, arrogant, and self-assured. His voice should be gruff and weathered, yet still carrying a sense of childish superiority. Grimm is the leader of a travelling troupe that worships a higher being known as the Nightmare Heart. He is confident, charismatic and devoted to his god.
The voice should have a grandiose feel to it as well as a raspy/gravelly edge if possible with an English Accent

The Godseeker is a character who seeks out all the gods of Hallownest in order to find a new deity to worship. They only take notice to warriors who prove themselves to be worthy of praise
The voice should get across their pride and high status nature but also a bit of excitement in the sport of watching all these bugs fight to the death.

The Hollow Knight is the child of the king, created to contain a deadly infection to protect Hallownest. They have however failed to fulfil their purpose as a result of not being truly hollow.
Their voice should sound weak and desperate. The singer should be able perform with both a quiet and powerful tone at different points.

We will require both a Male and Female chorus lead for multiple songs in this package. The chorus will appear in multiple songs across this project.
Note: Those not chosen as lead may still be chosen join in the main chorus

We are looking for artists who can take inspiration from the style of Hollow Knight to help create dynamic pieces for the videos. Please leave a reference to some of your work in a style you would use if you were brought on to the project

We will need some extra hands on this project to help us put together and polish up the audio for each track. You will need to know how to make individual vocals sound pleasant as well as working with multiple audio for chorus.
