"the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way."

In our short story (approx 2500 words) our young (mid-twenties) protagonist  visits her boyfriend in prison and proceeds to tell her fantastical tale of how a bizarre set of circumstances and luck have suddenly changed her life for the better.

While the story will have a minor male role, we are looking only for a female voice to play a duel role of Allison (our main character) and Supergirl. Please feel free to message me with any questions or catch me on Discord at elf22#0152.  

Payment will be made via Paypal at time of final content submission.  

Note: While payment is based on the fixed rate of $100 pfh, we do not anticipate an hour's worth of finished recording for this particular project.

    Wow! Thank you so much to all the talented VO artists out there that sent in auditions for our project -- over 50 in total! So many great submissions were sent in, but in the end, we selected ASTRAP (https://www.castingcall.club/astrap) for the role of Allison. For all those not selected, please know that we will be holding more auditions in the very near future for several other "girl power" related projects in the very near future. Allison is in her mid twenties;  younger, hip voice; semi confident and kind of a smart ass at times.  Approximately 40 lines total

Supergirl is a more mature sounding voice; confident, boardering on cocky.  Approximately 10 lines total

NOTE:  Allison's dialog will take up about 80-90% of the narration.  Supergirl's voice part is minimal with small sentences.

We will compile and edit the finished audio voices.  For a final deliverable, we are looking for a series of delivered lines (per the script) with short pauses (or longer ones) in between.  Can deal with one file or multiple, whatever is easier for you.

  • Allison: [interrupting] I'm getting to that part, silly!  Well, over the next few days, I was the talk of the hospital, they couldn't understand how I even survived, much less could walk.  Anyways, there wasn't a lot of celebrating on my behalf cause they carted my little ass off to jail within a week to await sentencing. [suddenly sad and intimate]  Oh my god, Gary....I was so scared!  [as if on the verge of tears] Do you have any idea what that's like to be locked up?!? [suddenly smiling and mocking] Oh!  I guess you do!

  • Supergirl: [laughing / haughty]  I think the boys here can find suitable accommodations for you two, unless you...umm....wanna end up like your car over there? 

  • Supergirl: [shocked] Ow! [relieved] Thank heavens it only grazed me! [pause] Wait!  Is that... my blood?
