Project Overview

Please note that I'm focusing on the Nekopara fandub projecr series mainly. This is just a short side project. Literally only 4 minute or so long project while Nekopara series are gonna be long dub series. Why I chose Grandia and this certain scene to be dubbed? I used to play Grandia when I was younger and it was one of the BEST games out there. And this scene literally left me in tears of how emotional, sad/happy it was.


Now what I am looking from people that audition;
  1. clear microphone
  2. NO background noises allowed. Use pop-filter if possible
  3. Right amount of emotion to the lines. Don't just read the lines like a book or something (meaning adding NO emotion). This is a MUST. You NEED to add proper amount of emotion.
  4. As said before, don't half-ass your auditions, because if you do, it's likely lowers your chances to get selected.
  5. Dedication to the project even if it's short. If you have no intention to voice act on this project, don't audition at all.
Once the script is delivered, you have 2 weeks to deliver lines. No more, no less. If you can't deliver the script lines within said deadline, let me know in advance so I can find a possible replacement for you.

Justin is best described as an impulsive youth with a moral core. He is often scolded by both his mother and Sue for acting rash in certain situations. His drive comes from his curiosity and will to learn about the world around him. He believes in keeping his friends close, while at the same time being protective of them. He often resents submitting to authority, which sometimes gets both him and Sue into trouble.

Justin always looked up to his father who was also an adventurer. His biggest accomplishment was discovering a large amount of species on the Old Continent. His father then unexpectedly dies one day, although never revealed, on an adventure when Justin was only young, leaving him in the care of his mother Lilly. Since that day, Justin has treasured his father's memento: a green stone with ancient and foreign symbols. Justin was convinced that it was the real fabled Spirit Stone from the fabled Angelounian legend. The Parm museum Curator noticed this and had high hopes for him. Justin had always loved adventuring with his friend Sue and her pet Puffy, who was actually a creature Justin's father discovered one day during his travels.

  • But Sue...will you really be OK alone? I...I could go back with you.

  • Sue...you act...like nothing's wrong.... But me, I'm... I'm....

  • ALLL RIIIIIGHT!! I'll cross the Sea of Mermaids! I'll show you! I promise, Sue!

Feena's personality initially starts as very professional and almost arrogant, she dismisses Justin and Sue on many occasions after first meeting them without giving them a chance to show her if they are good adventurers. After Justin and Sue save her from a forced marriage to Pakon, Feena becomes much more of a free spirit which is shown through the games remaining events. Feena is a very caring character and is often seen worried about Justin, Sue and her sister Leen but is strong willed enough to make decisions under pressure.

Feena spent the majority of her childhood living with her sister Leen on the outskirts of New Parm on the New Continent of Elencia. Soon after Leen left to join the military, Feena decided to fill the gap left by her sister and become an adventurer. She joined the Adventurer's Society, stationed in the town of New Parm and after several successful adventures, became an instant celebrity across Elencia. She becomes friends with most members of the society as well as most of the local sailors, merchants, and fishermen. Over time, she actually became conceited about her title and skill as an adventurer. Yet, she is still caring and respectful to others and always up for impossible and daunting tasks. Soon after meeting Justin, she felt her position on the matter of organized adventuring was wrong and promptly quit the Society to join Justin in his quest for Alent.

  • [trying to console crying Sue, tearing up herself, yet trying to sound comforting] Don't worry, Sue. You don't have to hold it in. You were going to go back to Parm...and cry alone, right? ...... Right?

  • [emotion staying like in Line 1] You will!! No matter how far apart we are, your spirit will be with us all the time. Isn't that right?

  • Justin...we came to see off Sue, and yet it's like she's seeing us off.

Sue is Justin's childhood friend. She often tries to act like an adult and constantly encourages Justin to do so as well. Sue is energetic, knowledgeable and shows wisdom well beyond her years, despite this she occasionally doesn't take situations as seriously as they should be. After losing both her parents, she was taken in by her aunt and uncle and regularly visits Justin and his mother, Lilly for company.

Sue is Justin's closest friend, and she is often seen tagging along with him on "adventures". Sue's parents died when she was only an infant, at which time her aunt and uncle took her in as her legal guardians. Because of this, Sue is extremely mature and responsible for her age. She is often credited for acting more grown-up than Justin, even though she is at least six years younger. At a young age, Sue became used to eating her meals with Lilly and Justin at their house, much to the approval of her aunt and uncle. She tries to act as Justin's responsible guardian, often advising him on manners and work duties. Even she agrees that Justin could not carry out his adventures without her assistance. She often purposefully oppresses her inner childhood feelings in order to appear more grown-up. Because of this, she resents being called a child or a kid. At some point in time, she inherited the creature known as Puffy from Justin, which was actually a creature his father discovered on his adventures. They've become so accustomed to each other that Sue actually uses Puffy in battle. The sprite of Sue can often be seen twirling Puffy like a baton in order to conjure up a spell or to throw him to damage the enemy.

  • [Trying to sound happy] Justin, don't be selfish and cause Feena too much trouble. ❤ Understand? Now, let's see. Your handkerchief is in your pocket as always, your toothbrush.... Well, Justin...you'll be all right even without me! Justin, Feena... I guess it's farewell. Be well, you two!

  • [starting to cry, pouring her heart out in desperation at the end] I guess...you see right through me, Feena. But...but...I didn't...wanna.. be...crying the last time you saw my face.... I don't wanna!!

  • [has calmed down a bit but again trying to be happy, bittersweetly] Oh! This is it!! Say.... Look, look!! Well? I want you to remember me as I am now. OK? Both of you? If you don't remember me well now, you won't recognize me at all when I'm a beautiful lady. ❤
