Pilot episode of Goblin Slayer Abridged to be aired on the Slap Happy Chaps YouTube channel. This episode has an ensemble cast, and there are several roles to fill. Young and inexperienced with adventuring, Priestess joins up with Goblin Slayer following an incident with goblins that caused her great pain. She's oddly drawn to Goblin Slayer, even though he's all business and doesn't seem to notice. She is a source of comfort for Goblin Slayer, and is warm and nurturing underneath.
(Grateful, genuine) Thanks again for forming a party with me. It makes me feel a lot better knowing I have you to help out.
(Matter of fact) I'm 15. I know how the world works.
(Mildly annoyed) Let's just get our assignment.
Born into noble elf lineage and having never interacted with humans before, High Elf Archer is initially off-putting in the way she speaks to others. She often talks down to those she considers to be inferior, though this facade covers up a rather warm yet naive personality.
(Calm, direct) Pardon me, Bard... where might I find this "Slayer of Goblins?"
(Demanding) Receptionist! I demand information immediately!
(Genuine yet uncertain) Are you sure humans don't like being talked down to?
Receptionist at the guild. Resents her current occupation, and only really confides in Examiner. Genuine and professional demeanor.
(Taken aback, then polite/professional) Oh... kay. How can I help you?
(Exasperated) *sigh* I hate customer service.
(Confiding in someone, slight longing for something more) I just feel like I can do more... high level work.
Cocky adventurer in the same guild as Goblin Slayer. Teammates with Witch.
(Cocky retelling of his accomplishment) So, using my quick wit and ingenuity, I was able to slay the foul beast without ANY civilian casualties AND minimized widespread mayhem. All with the help of my trusty spear.
(Hitting on Guild Girl) If you'd like, I could show you what that quick wit looks like... personally.
(Assured) Oh, someday you will. I can feel it.
Sultry femme fatale who is teamed up with Spearman. Long time acquaintance of Goblin Slayer. Seems to have some knowledge of his past.
(Reaching out) Everything all right, young one? You seem distracted.
(Reflecting) You mean Goblin Slayer? Not really surprising. I don't think he's ever formed a party before.
(Assuring, then annoyed) Just keep learning from him. He'll come around. It's more than I can say for some of the OTHER men here.
Plain spoken young woman who works with Guild Girl. In charge of examinations. Sarcastic and matter of fact.
(Reacting to "I hate customer service") Then you're working in the wrong place
(Matter of fact) In this town, it's either here or the armor shop... and you don't want to work for that old asshole.
(Sarcastic, mocking) At a girl. Spin your wheels like the rest of us 'til we're old and gray.
