Project Overview

Intro:

Hi! I'm currently a student working on my thesis film for my animation program and I'm looking for voice actors! The film is called "GHOSTCORP", it's a 3 and half minute, independent, 2D hand-animated project that will be shown to animation industry professionals in April 2025 and then screened at film festivals. Here's the logline:

An egotistical ghost hunter takes on more than he can handle as a deadly ghost hunt could lead him to the recognition he so desperately desires.

Some Notes:


  • This is a student film and I unfortunately don't have the budget to pay you lovely people, so this is a volunteer position.


  • The film will be completed and screened to industry professionals at the end of April, so I can at least provide eyes on your talent!


  • There's 2 roles available. Both of which don't have many lines.


  • I encourage anyone to apply/reach out, regardless of skill level. Even if I don't end up going with you, I like to keep connected for potential future projects.


  • This site is all new to me, so I might not know the proper etiquette or rules that go on here.

  • Deadline Update!

    Hi everyone!

    Oh my gosh, thank you all so much for your submissions so far and for the interest in my project! I seriously wasn't expecting so many so quickly...

    Just wanted to give an update: I'll be making the deadline for submissions a lot sooner... 3 days from now in fact. I realized that I'll be needing voice lines ASAP so I can animate any scenes that require lip sync. Also, I've gotten so many more submissions than I thought, and I'm already having a hard time choosing between people, you all are seriously so talented!

    If I don't end up going with you, I still really hope to work on more projects in the future and provide more opportunities, so please be sure to follow my Youtube (LlamaFreak) and Instagram (@rhyysart).

Character Description:

Chance is an egotistical "cool guy" in his early twenties. He is a part-time ghost hunter working for a company called "GhostCorp". Despite his self-confidence, he is the lowest ranked ghost hunter, which makes him desperate to get good paranormal evidence for the recognition he thinks he deserves.

  • Not a lot of lines, just one-off comments as he explores a haunted place. But a fair amount of gasps, panting from running, etc. Defeated laugh and screaming.
