'Friend' - Main Character YouTube Channel
Project Overview
We are looking for a Talented Voice Actor to fill an existing character role on our channel!
You'll have fantastic voice acting skills, prior experience in anime/animation work!
You'd be filling the role of Friend; The main protagonist in our videos. Friend has been a un-voiced character until now!
Key Responsibilities:
Record scripted voice lines, with a short 18-24 hour turn-around period
Take on the character of Friend, developing him into your own unique style that the fans will love, with support from the writing and production team!
Work as part of the team to help us make some of the best content we can!
Provide pickups at short notice when required.
Requirements:
Must be aged 18 or above.
Demonstrable experience in Voice Acting. A portfolio would be appreciated
Experience with general Minecraft Content Creation is a bonus.
Must have a Discord account for communication.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to sign a contract and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
Willing to record and voice a minimum of 5 scripts per week
A Glimpse into a Typical Day:
You will be apart of an established creative team. Taking on the role of Friend, you will play a key role in our content voice-acting as one of our main cast!
You'll be sent scripts, with between 400 - 800 words in length to record for our content.
In addition you'll have access to the raw video from the recording/production cast, so you can match pacing and tone of the body actor for Friend.
You'll record the lines, and send them over to our editor to be inserted into the final video!
Work Hours:
Availability to take on scripts between 2pm GMT (or earlier) to 5pm GMT, that's 9am EST -> 2pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Our company is based in the UK, and we may require pickups at short notice.
Long-Term commitment 9+ months
Compensation:
Pay rate per hour: $10/100 words. 400 word minimum.
Payment will be facilitated via Paypal.

You'd be filling the role of Friend; The Main protagonist of our content, a Young Soft Sassy, Boy who wears a purple sweater! They equally find themselves in situations where they're the Hero; but also the troll/scarcastic Friend. But in the end he does what is right. He's courageous, but also a chaos gremlin. 'Friends', Friends always come first.
We are happy and looking for both male and female VA's (Young Male) to audition for this role!
Friend has been a main character in our content for over 4+ years. They have been mute/unvoiced during this time. We are looking to find a voice actor to bring Friend to life with a voice for the first time in our content!
