FREDBEAR AND FRIENDS 3.0
Project Overview
ABOUT THE PROJECT
FREDBEAR AND FRIENDS 3.0 is a remake of Fredbear and Friends: Reboot, a fangame project based on the ever so popular Five Nights at Freddy's saga created by Scott Cawthon. It is set in an alternate universe, but still includes most of the major plot points of the Fredbear and Friends storyline.
The original Fredbear and Friends began development back in October 2015. It went through a massive amount of changes mid-development, but eventually ended up being cancelled. A remake, Fredbear and Friends: Reboot, was announced somewhere in August 2016. Unfortunately it's files have been corrupted completely, and the project has been put on hold for almost a year. The game has finally been released in December 2017.
Although the project ended up being somewhat successful and becoming fairly popular in the Five Nights at Freddy's fangame community, I was left unsatisfied with the outcome and felt like it could have been much better. Now it's getting remade once again, for the last time.
STORY DESCRIPTION
FREDBEAR AND FRIENDS 3.0 follows the story of five teenagers, a group of paranormal enthusiasts. Together, they have explored various abandoned environments, until one day.
The game's protagonist is Thomas Woods, whoose story is told from his camcorder. One of his friends, Tyler arranges a meeting at Fredbear and Friends, a restaurant that has been left abandoned for over thirty years. Although the exact reason for the closure of the establishment is left unknown, it is presumed to have something to do with numerous deaths caused by animatronic malfunctions, as well as a stalker who is rumored to be responsible for them.
Curious, the teenagers decide the explore the abandoned restaurant. Trying to discover secrets no one else has, they soon realize that they aren't the only ones wandering the dark corridors.
GAME DESCRIPTION
FREDBEAR AND FRIENDS 3.0 is an immersive 'found footage' singleplayer horror experience, where the player must survive while avoiding a number of threats in the form of old, decayed animatronics. Different enemies gradually appear as the game progresses, with each one having their own unique ways of catching the player.
Unlike the original Five Nights at Freddy's, the player is allowed to freely roam the game's setting and interact with different parts of the environment. The player has no means of defending themselves, however there are multiple ways to track the movement of the animatronics, as well as different ways to hide.
REQUIREMENTS
I don't have many requirements, but a good quality microphone is definitely nessescary for these roles. Do not audition if you don't feel dedicated enough to the project - I expect my lines within a reasonable period subject to my discretion, which may change at any moment. Should you fail to deliver the lines within the aforementioned period, I may find another voice actor at any given time. This applies to both volunteers as well as any paid actors.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Due to a low budget, all the roles below are either completely unpaid or low paying. Any voluntary voice work will be rewarded with a shotout on the game's page upon release, as well as a special place in the game's credits.
The first seven roles (from Thomas Woods to Phone Guy) are the game's main roles. The rest are extra, very minor roles that are mostly voice-only and do not make a physical appearance in the game. They appear in the 'Extras' section of the game's menu in the form of collectible audio / video tapes.

The game's protagonist, Thomas is the group's original 'leader' and main cameraman.
He is mostly untalkative, and prefers to explore alone. His feelings towards the paranormal are neutral - he is mostly unscared of it, but still partially believes in it's existence.
Thomas is shorter than most of the other teenagers. He has very dark medium hair, and dresses smart but casual. He usually only wears black colored clothing.
Tyler, this isn’t exactly what I thought of when you said ‘in decent shape’.
Guys, cut it! We’re doing this to have fun, not to get mad at eachother.
Chris, I know you’re probably hiding behind a corner waiting to scare us, It’s not funny anymore.
AGE: 18 | Gender: Male | Nationality: American | Voice Range: Medium - Low | Profanity: High | Script Word Count: 248
Thomas's best friend, Chris is an arrogant and cocky individual who does not fear the paranormal. He is the game's comic relief.
Unlike the other teenagers, Chris isn't so much of a paranormal enthusiast. He doesn't take the idea of ghost hunting too seriously, and often tries to scare his friends in every way possible.
Sporting an edgy style, Chris has a short buzzcut and dresses in dark colors, always wearing his old leather jacket. He is the tallest out of all the teenagers.
EXTRA NOTE: This is regarding all the auditions below. Chris is not meant to sound like a friendly, enthustiastic character. He has a deeper voice and a cocky, careless attitude.
The name's Adams. Chris Adams. I'm not that interesting, but I like to have some fun.
You guys look scared shitless. What is it? Afraid of ghosts? Boo!
You think they still have some pizza left here? I’m feelin’ damn hungry.

Richard is a nervous individual, who is easily scared. He is the most intelligent of the group, being highly observant and able to sense danger at any moment.
Despite being the youngest of the group, he is also the most mature.
Richard has long, blonde hair. He likes to dress smart, usually wearing some kind of shirt.
His voice is rather monotone, often emotionless. He is always scared.
This place is giving me the creeps. Feels like one of these robots is gonna come to life and rip my head off. Sometimes I regret going out with you guys.
I’ve already had a small look beforehand. The party rooms are in extraordinary condition. Almost as if someone was looking after the place.
Ugh, feels like there’s a drill inside my skull. Ever since I walked in here, my head’s been pounding.
AGE: 18 | Gender: Male | Nationality: American | Voice Range: Medium - High | Profanity: Minor (1 word) | Script Word Count: 362
Tyler could be considered the leader of the group. He always carefully plans out the paranormal investigations, and does heavy research on the places they visit beforehand.
He is the most dedicated member of the group, always being on the lookout for secrets.
Tyler is somewhat 'nerdy', and doesn't care much for his appearance like the rest of the group. He has short brown hair and dresses very casually, usually wearing a hoodie. He is pale and skinny.
Fascinating. Even after all these years, this restaurant is still all in one piece. Well, almost.
Surely one of these arcade machines has to work. At least it'd be pretty cool if they did.
AGE: 19 | Gender: Female | Nationality: American | Voice Range: Medium - Low | Profanity: None | Script Word Count: 288
The oldest member of the group, Ashley shows particular expertise in problem solving. She is one of the group's more dedicated members, always helping Tyler research the places they visit.
Ashley is the shortest member of the group. She has long brown hair, and likes dressing smart.
What were you guys expecting? This place hasn’t been touched in what, forty years? I’m surprised the lights still work.
It's been a while since I've been out ghost huntin' with you guys. It's good to be back together.
Alright boys, power going up! Or, well, more power.
AGE: Unknown (Near his 20s - 30s) | Gender: Male | Nationality: Australian | Voice Range: Medium - Low | Profanity: None | Script Word Count: 301
An unidentified killer, the Psychopath is the game's main antagonist.
Responsible for many missing person reports near the abandoned restaurant, the Psychopath monitors Thomas's movement via video surveillance throughout his whole stay. He puts the protagonist through one of his 'games' that many of victims have failed in the past - surviving eight hours while being hunted by killer robots.
He attempts to kill Thomas by releasing different animatronics each hour he survives, constantly teasing him via intercom. He fails to do so however, and eventually hunts the player himself.
The Psychopath is tall and well-built. He has long, greasy black hair, and wears a hooded leather jacket covered in blood. He uses a large combat knife to kill anyone unfortunate enough to end up in his path.
Well well well, who have we here? Another fellow visitor? A willing participant?
Congratulations, you made it to 11PM. You wouldn't be the first though, so don't get too cocky!
Aargh! How are you still alive?! Useless piles of scrap, I knew these bots were good for nothing! Fine... I’ll do it myself.
AGE: Unknown (Near his 60s - 70s) | Gender: Male | Nationality: American | Voice Range: Low | Profanity: None | Script Word Count: 395
The Phone Guy is an unidentified male, only heard very briefly via an old phone.
Almost no information is known about the Phone Guy. He seems to have a very extensive knowledge of the behaviour of the animatronics, hinting at him possibly being a former employee of the Fredbear and Friends establishment.
Using a filter to disguise his voice, he calls Thomas via a vintage phone before the Psychopath begins to release the animatronics, and provides him with a number of tips on how to survive against them.
His voice sounds similar to that of John Kramer (Jigsaw) from the Saw series.
If you want to survive, listen very closely.
You have just stepped inside the trap of a cold, ruthless killer.
(...) What you decide to do with this knowledge is left up to you. Good luck.

Mark is the supporting character of Video Tape #1.
He was one of the most experienced engineers working for Fredbear Entertainment. Keeping every animatronic in check, he made sure they'd never malfunction during the day. He was dedicated to keeping people safe.
You talk a lot.
I've worked 15 years in this industry and let me tell you, these things are not easy to tamper with.
What happened to Fredbear was the work of an experienced individual. Someone who knew what they were doing.

John Evans is the protagonist of Video Tape #1.
An unseen character, John was one of the many employees working at the restaurant. Not much more is known about him or his physical appearance.
Along with Mark Anderson, he was sent to the Fredbear and Friends establishment late at night for an animatronic check. He was there to accompany him and provide help in case anything went wrong.
So… you mind telling me why they’ve given us tasers to come here now?
How often do these things break down anyway? It’s like we get a new complaint every week. Old, faulty tech. Why doesn’t Jack just get something newer?
