Fangs and Spells is a longform project I have been working on for some months. My plan is to create a webcomic that can be posted on Webtoon at a once-weekly basis. F&S is an urban fantasy story, with a core cast of 4 characters, and discussions of familial and platonic relationships. It deals with heavier themes such as grief, trauma, and mental disorders, but has plenty of humour as well.
Characters:
- Clove, a young witch with a lot of growing to do
- Carmen, a vampire with a sense of humour and plenty of issues
- Iris, a ghost haunting her own house
- Sabrina, a werewolf dealing with anxiety and her crazy housemates
The story focuses on how the main 4 characters interact, argue, become friends, and deal with a variety of mundane and supernatural problems. Each has their own arc, with a central theme of familial relationships and trusting people.
Requirements:
- Age 13 or above
- Willing to work with someone in a different timezone
- A discord account
- Okay with sensitive subject matters (mild gore, depictions of mental illness, grief)
- Able to use Microsoft OneNote
- Edit: Able to work on a project with no promise of return on investment! All profits will be shared, but the profits themselves are highly variable and not set at all
