In January of 2017 I released a mod called the North Road. Here's a link for it! While the mod met with critical acclaim (it's my most downloaded mod as of this posting), it still suffered from my relative inexperience in the medium.
Now that I'm ever-so-slightly more competent at this modding business, I'd like to go back and see about bringing the North Road up to my current quality standards. With that in mind, my only hard requirement for casting is decent mic quality.
May is a perpetually-cheery young woman operating a gun store. She has a mildly unhealthy love of firearms, and won't hesitate to talk about this with anyone she meets. She is very excitable and energetic, and is enthusiastic about pretty much everything. She is also slightly immature, although still likable. She isn't intended to be obnoxious, so don't aim for that.
Oh, it's great, isn't it? I love the weather up here. The Mojave is all hot... and dry... And sweaty. I never saw snow once until I came north. And I like the people, too. Well, Colin is kind of a dick, but everyone else is nice.
Look, ever since I was a little baby, or... Maybe ever since I was, like, literate... I've been making this list of guns I want. I've narrowed it down to around six or so. I mean, I want hundreds more, but these six are relatively close by, right?
Man, trophy hunters are little bitches. You get a badass 12-gauge like this, and you waste it on random animals? Come on. A weapon this good should be reserved for shooting politicians, or lawyers! Or, my favorite option, it should be in my hands forever.
Owens is a 30-something mercenary, trying to start his own business. While he is somewhat gruff, he shouldn't come across as standoffish or unpleasant. As a military type, he should have a degree of authority to his voice.
Well, you know that mercenary crew running around the valley? I ran with them for a few months. The commander was a hardass prick, and his second-in-command is a raging lunatic, so I quit.
Town's pretty small, you know? The people here that know how to handle a gun are all occupied with town guard shit. Plus, most of them have been here since before this place was anything more than a gang hangout. Too much hometown pride to walk away now.
I don't know where they took him, but I know they got shoot-on-sight orders for anyone who comes hunting him. Guess that means you.
Prostitute 1 is a prostitute, in case that wasn't obvious. She is very unenthusiastic about her job, to a slightly comedic degree. For the sake of sanity, she should not have the same voice as Prostitute 2.

Irene is a hardass young woman, operating a rough town on the frontier of civilized territory. She's tougher than she looks, and is smart enough to keep all of her people in line, even if a good handful of them think she's a violent psychopath. All the same, she's entirely capable of being friendly, as long as it's reciprocated.
I got tired of their terrible attitudes within about five minutes of showing up, so I shot their chief in the throat. I figured that it was one of those cases where, y'know, whoever kills the king gets the crown. Instead, leadership passed to that dick, Colin.
Well, I've never met him. That's good news for one of us, since I want him dead, and I imagine he wants something similar for me. As for who he actually is... Not a clue. Scuttlebutt says he's former Legion. One of their centurions, actually.
That was a couple years ago. I've been civilizing this place ever since, whether they want it or not.
Hader is a monstrously strong, seven-foot-tall raider war chief. He lives for battle, and while he is more intelligent than he appears, his only real purpose in life is to kill as many people as he can, until he finds a worth opponent who can defeat him. As a giant, bloodthirsty antagonist character, he should have a fittingly deep, intimidating, and almost-feral voice. Think "heavy metal vocalist" and you should come pretty close. Decent mic quality is required.
If they were too weak to stop you, then they deserved to die at your hand. Nobody will miss them.
Your employers are a weak and craven lot, hiding behind their walls to avoid facing me in battle. Their lives are worth little, and their money even less. But you are worth testing.
I announced my intention to rule over them, and told them that if any of them objected, they were free to try and kill me, if they could. Some tried... All failed.
